NAPPY CHANGING

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CHANGE A SMELLY AND BAD NAPPY WITHOUT FEELING LIKE YOU WANT TO SPEW!!!!!!!

Breathe through your mouth.

Treat it like a scientific experiment! Really find out what juniour has been eating : ).

Force someone else to do it is always a goody...

Once, not so long ago, juniour had diarrohea and vomited in the car. The mess was diabolically smelly and gross. I decided on the spot to unattach his carseat. Him, me and the carseat all went into the shower and I just washed us all down. He had a great time while sluiced away all that @#$% : )

and the breathing thru the mouth i will try that tomorrow unless i can palm them off lol!

and we have had a few issues with diesel and his bowels and most of the time they have been runny.

try putting your t-shirt over your nose as well as the breathe through the mouth....

Yeah i have tried that already and no luck i am afraid so i will be giving the breathing thru the mouth idea. i can easy change the nappy but the smell sometimes is overwhelming. i need to get over this cos i have another baby due within 9 weeks.

you could put some vicks vapour rub (or similar) up your nostrils, not much gets past that...
also having a conversation for distraction, even talking to bub about the weather, so your not focussed on the crap in the nappy...

failing that, is this where I get the chance to say, "Suck it up and be a man!"? lol

What's worse? Great globs of goo up your nostrils or horrific smells...

I can imagine you're working away on juniour and Mum walks in and see's Dads innocent face look up with all this crap hanging out his nose. I would hear THAT story till the day I died... of that I'm sure.

I think you need to go all out! And get a gas mask!! You're gonna be up to your armpits in kid's poo's for years, mate : ).

You dont need heaps, just enough to stop the smell getting through. It's not like KY jelly, you wont have globs of goo dripping from your nose...

if you practice at it you actually can use the nappy as the first wipe and that will take a way all the shlt which then takes away all the smell and you only have a quick wipe and it is job done

i have a castiron stomach so even though i can smell it it never effects me

take a big deep breath before you open the nappy, then hold your breath! hahahah. when you run out of air, face your face as far away from that offensive shite (over your shoulder) take another deep breath and hold it!
if you have diving equipment (i.e. oxygen tank and mouthpiece etc.)... use that!

thats the only way i COULD do it while preggers with oliver, otherwise i WOULD spew.

and SERIOUSLY start looking at toilet training tips and get started on that. the toilet really IS a godsend!!!!

i take a deep breath before opening the nappy, use the nappy itself to remove the majority of the poo, have the wipes out already so i can just grab it and put it over the area, wipe as quickly as possible and then throw the nappy out of the room while putting a new one on (make sure its securely wrapped/in a plastic bag etc before throwing LOL)

Oh puhleeeaaase!! Geez just hold your breath and get the job done quick, your own shoes probably smell just as bad and the rest of the family have to deal with that.
