Fart breath - literally!!!!

If you have a queasy stomach, stop reading now ..... for everyone else, have you ever heard of this before? Today I have been feeling really bad and had the runs as well as stomach pains (not pregnant though). But the weird thing has been that I've been burping heaps and they actually smell (and taste!!!!) like those really smelly egg farts. How weird is that???

I know, it really is revolting. And the fact that I haven't eaten all day probably not helping!!

My sister had this and it was horrific. Something wrong with her liver plus i think hep c or something like that. Doubt thats your problem though im sure, but thats what was wrong with her at the time of aquiring that omg smell

I'm relieved to hear someone else has heard of it!! I'm pretty sure it's just cause I had a big feed of fish n chips last night and we very rarely eat fatty foods like that. I think my body just can't handle it.

Does the back of your throat feel like it's gluggy? You could be getting sick (or already are seeing as you have the runs). Really mild gastro?

I'm please to report no burps today (so far anyway, have been up for about 50 minutes), but still have the runs. So am trying to decide whether to go to work today or not. I feel like I should cause not last week but the week before I had to have 2 of my 3 days off cause DD was sick, and I have one day off annual leave already booked for this week. But on the other hand, I sit next to my best friend and she is pregnant so don't want to pass it on to her if it is gastro! Bloody work, always feeling guilty!!

As embarssassing as it is for me to admit I get this a fair bit, I work shift work and it seems to happen when i have had little sleep... It is awful feeling but I actually went to the dr about it, when it happens now i take Alka-Seltzer you can buy it at most chemists smile
