BABY #1 DUE DATE

If my first day of my last period was February 24th, 2011 then my baby should be due November 24th, 2011. My gp has mentioned its November 30th and the ultrasound people have said it November 27th, November 30th and or December 1st.

Which one is it? My mum says it should be November 24th
My period used to arrive every 21 days not every 28 days and it would last for 4 days only.

I am just wondering if it really is November 24th and not November 30th

Any opinions or experiences similar??

I have been told the most accurate one is the first scan.

I got with the date given at my first scan. 3rd november for me smile
When I worked it out with my doctor it was 29th october. But that can't be accurate cos you can't really know exactly when you ovulated.

Go with the first scan date. I got told 5 different dates too but decided with the midwife to go with the first scan as that is the most accurate and i went into labour on that night smile I know it's not normal to do that but at least that date was later than some of the others i was told so i wasn't stressed about being overdue.

It's also good to have a date agreed on so when you are talking to doctors, midwives etc you are on the same page.

Due dates are based on average durations of gestation. Everyone is different, and two weeks early to two weeks late is a range of a whole month that is considered normal/healthy.
