Does anyone do this? I was just reading in the other thread of someone doing this and would like to know more smile

DS1 is fully Vacinated up untl 2year and DS2 has had the 2 months shot only (wish we didnt)

I am still doing research about Vacinations at the mo but would be interested in Naturopath

Good Luck with that V! laugh laugh laugh

I haven't really looked into that side of things, still too busy trying to wade through all the vaccine/disease/immune system stuff. Let me know if you want help researching or have any questions, might be able to point you to some stuff. PM or FB me if you don't want to do it here. smile

The two are not comparable, they are two completely different things. Naturopathy is a valid treatment path but it simply cannot prevent the illnesses that vaccination prevents. (I'm not advocating vaccination vs non vaccination, simply that naturopathy cannot be compared to vaccination).
Naturopathy or Homeopathy? If you're talking about Naturopathy - nutrition, dietetics, herbal medicine, homeopathy and massage will not prevent an infectious disease.
Homeopathy is quackery. It claims to stimulate the body’s own healing response to disease using highly diluted preparations - so diluted in fact, often they are not even detectable in the preparations (!). Homeopaths claim that the molecules still have an imprint (memory) of the substances - but if you know anything about chemistry, you would know that this simply isn't physically possible.
A systematic review looking at the clinical effects of homeopathy, published in the Lancet (leading medical journal) found that: "The finding is compatible with the notion that the clinical effects of homoeopathy are placebo effects"
What this means is that homeopathy has as much effect as a sugar pill. So if you want to use homeopathy instead of vaccinating, you might as well give your kids some sugar, and save yourself (A LOT!) of money.
I was under the impression that homeopathic/natropathic remedies were only effective if the illness was already present - not as a preventative/vaccine type scenario.
children have died because their pasrents decided to "treat" illnesess with homeopathy/natropathy remedies and have been on the news.

it's one thing to use natural remidies in conjuction with medicial ones but subsituting it to me is potentially dangerous.

Children have also died having been treated with conventional medicine, because hey, sometimes it doesn't work.

Same as if a baby dies in a homebirth its all over the media, but a baby that dies for the same reasons in a hospital is never mentioned, leading to the perception that homebirths are dangerous and hospitals are safe.
