Anyone with a child in a wheelchair??

My step-son is 11 and is in a wheelchair...

Our family is growing and we need to get a bigger car.
Currently we have a Toyota Tarago and DH and I lift DSS into the van but he is growing and soon we will be unable to lift him...

We have 6 children with another on the way...

I'm looking at a Toyota Hiace and thinking we can make it wheelchair accessible with a lift/ramp and removing some seats... (?)

What wheelchair accessible vehicles are there that will fit us all in??

Suggestions welcome.

Im not sure, most cars i know they put the lifting ramp in they have to take out the back seats. i hope someone on here can help you.

My son has a wheelchair but sorry I cant help you. We have a suburu but we only have 3 kids and the wheelchair (pediatric wheelchair) fits in the back at the moment - he's only five also so we can still lift him into the car

Its hard enough choosing a car let alone the other things you have to consider sad - maybe your local disability group/organisation could suggest something??
