ok what do u do when ur child likes the naughty spot???

i sent court to the naughty spot the other day, and i said to her once she says sorry she can come and play and she said no i like the naughty spot, she just sat there all happy with herself, she couldnt watch tv and there were no toys it is just a bare wall with nothing interesting so what should i do to make it less enjoyable for her lol???

Chances are she doesn't actually like it and is just being a little miss. How long did she sit there? If it were my DS I would let him sit there until he started to get sick of it. Even if she's sitting there for 30mins or something, once she realises you aren't going to give in, she'll probably not like it.
I wish my 'angel' would stay in the naughty spot!

Hmm, this is a hard one LOL! Maybe try putting her somewhere else. Im not sure where though...

lmao she will sit there all night if i let her lol, she even tells me before she goes to sleep that she "loves" the naughty spot lol

seriously its the most bare and boring spot in the house and she thinks its great. maybe if i put her in a room full of fun stuff she would hate it lmao. i dont know im stumped

LMAO - sorry but when Pumba started at his day care they have a "thinking" chair and my dear darling one chose that as his own lol, if anyone went to that area he would run and sit on the chair so no one else could - I told the teachers that it was okay he would need to get use to it anyway lol

The fact that she keeps telling you that she loves it has got me thinking she's just being smart. How long have you left her there?
Hmmmm, maybe start doing something fun while she's there, eg. cooking or colouring....see how she likes it then lol

well the other night i started playin on my own and said do u want to come out of the naughty corner and she goes no i like the naughty corna and just kept playing with herself and stuff and im like ok well this didnt work lol
i thought she was being smart at first too but she genuinly likes it hmmmm i have left her there for ages before like over half hour and stuff and it doesnt bother her lol she either really likes it or is stubborn

Stick her in the middle of the room instead then. You can't have the punishment spot being an enjoyable area!

i cant really put her anywhere else the naughty spot is up against a bare wall with nothing near it, i cant see how it would be fun for her but she likes it, there isnt anywhere else i could put her, bar the toilet cant see she would like that much lol

Reminded me of my boys tho LOL Around a mth ago Ryan was sent to time out. After his time was up and he was allowed to leave he and his brother turned around and immediately set up a 'pillow party' in the timeout corner. They had all their pillows and favourite toys and played their for an hr - Cheeky little buggers trying the reverse pyschology on me! LOL

she is 2 and a half going on 30 lol
