Telling kids

To shutup... ok? Not ok?

how old are the kids?I am guilty of that... but not proud of it and it does not work they just keep talking

I've done it sad And I felt like poo afterwards sad I really didn't feel proud of what I had done but I apologised to my son who's 10 and he understood that I was grumpy and forgave me. I don't like it, doesn't sound nice sad

The child being told to shutup is 4 and has a younger sister. These were not my kids either. DH has once told DS to shutup and I told him that I don't ever want him to say that to any of the kids again.

I think that shut up is mostly used out of anger sad so not really nice to say it to anyone, especially a child. Sometimes the word just comes out in the heat of the moment sad Still not cool though.

hi - I dont like it at all, whether its to adults or kids I think it is rude and it is the one thing my DH says every now and agin that absolutely drives me nuts!!

I never tell my dd to shutup. Sometimes I do tell my 10yr old ds to shutup (which he doesnt anyway lol)..but geez not out of anger roll eyes

Well I guess today it was. I'm not really sure, I've only just met them recently and have only had a few play dates.

i tell the animals to shut up all the time but i dont tell DS or other people to shut up
