Spew Smell

Does anyone know how to get vomit smell out of carpets?

You could try something like Febreeze that is meant to remove odours or cover area with bi carb soda and leave it there for 24 hours then vacuum. It should help get rid of the smell.

Before i had kids Caity the only vomit i had to clean was my own!!

LMAO When I had my gall stones I had an attack while in town and couldnt drive so DH called my SIL- as I had the car with the car seats in it. While waiting I threw up in a plastic bag (seemed like a good idea at the time as I didnt want to look like a skanky drunk throwing up in the carpark out the car door) but half way through chucking I realised as I was getting coated in spew that there was a hole in the bag therefor the spew went all through the car. You can't wash your car carpet and it made the components get all wet so the air bag light came on and kept beeping at me- had to take it to the auto elec and he told me next time your DH cleans the carpet tell him not to use water (Ha ha it wasnt water).

Sorry long post but just was wanting to get to the point that the spew smell will NEVER come out of car carpet-LOL no matter how you disguise it it will come back- usually on hot days.

Oh and I must add that poor DH got stuck with the clean up. To this day (especially hot ones-lol) he still says I cant believe you didnt just do it out the car.

Um, maybe try some purfume over the area?

Or tee-tree oil if you have it. Even disinfectant? Good luck.

I have heard that vinegar will do the trick although have NEVER tried it myself.
