Do you put cooking oil Rss

Down the drain or in the bin?

Seems abit wrong to put it down the sink, but then what if there's a hole in the rubbish bag in the bin & it leaks out?
I'm naughty I out it down the sink oops
But in my defense it's like a table spoon at most we don't use a lot of oil and I don't like deep fryers smile how much oil we talking about Hun??

I put it in the bin, over time it will block up your drains and will also cause them to smell.
LMLB, I dont usually use much either, but tonight I accidentally put HEAPS in the pan lol. It easily covered the bottom of the frypan. I was cooking beef schnitzel.

Skip, I never thought of disposing of it there. Probably the better choice out of the 3 smile
If it's only a tiny bit then it generally goes down the drain unsure

I use a paper towel to soak the oil up, then put that in the bin if theres quite a bit wink nothing worse than oil drips through the house gasp
Does it kill weeds skip cos it might be a natural form of weed kill lol

WWT I admit I have done that too lol I hope they were yummy though smile
I feel bad for all those times I put oil down the sink when I was younger lol.

For small ammounts I usually wipe it off with a paper towel & bin it, but this is too much for that.

Skip, we grow anything important in pots anyway so it wouldnt matter lol.

Thanks for all your replies smile
