great news - did you find someone for a good price?

$25 an hour, and she wasn't phased that we live out of the actual town.

It might work out well yet because after ringing all sorts of people and being really unsure, I recognised this ladies voice on the phone, and I also recognised her name. She said exactly the same, that I sounded extremely familiar - and yet we both couldn't place each other. I'm sure I know this person and when I see her face will be like "Oh it's you!!!" lol

On the other hand I hope I don't recognise her as some mental health patient from work...... lol

She is coming to say hi and to meet me... and we'll go from there.

Must admit I'm still slightly nervous about it all.

LOL smile

I am sure it will be fine. I have only had a cleaner once and that was when we were selling our house and had to have it spotless for inspections at any minute. At the time I was working part time and had a 2yr old and a 6 month old so a cleaner was the way to go. Still felt guilty though ..

I'm quite certain I wont feel guilty. LOL

I plan to make this a permanent thing - hubby seems to think that it'll be while I'm pregnant and while we have a brand new baby, but he's got another thing coming!!! This is pay back for him telling me for over a year that he will clean the bathroom and that I shouldn't hire a cleaner, and yet he hasn't done it even once.

All mums deserve a cleaner!!! I'm only going to have her come once a month, and after the initial clean I would think I'll only need her for an hour as our house isn't very big. So $25 a month is well worth it - plus she uses all her own cleaning gear.

Good for you. I am thinking about getting one as I am now back at work 4 days and have my 3 beautiful kids so would rather not spend the weekend cleaning...
Might be time to start ringing around too.
