Just wondering if anyone has relocated states with a step child. My partner is currently in the interview process for a new job in another state. We are currently in Tasmania and the new job is in Queensland. There is a court order in place for our daughter to see her mother once a week for a couple of hours (as per the mothers request). She constantly breaks the order and has threatened my partner quite a few times if she doesn't get her way. We are planning to speak to her about moving to see what she says but if she says no we have to go through the courts to get 1. see if we can move and 2. make new arrangement for her to see our daughter. Does anyone know how long it takes from the application going in to the end result? We only have a few weeks and if the process takes to long the job wont be there. Hoping someone has done it successfully smile
