done it sad they got over it in 15mins im currnetly trying to find a kids bread recipie so i can make a dough and let them make shapes like playdough then bake it so they can eat it but cant find a good one sad
What about "play Baking" let them loose on the tupperware cupboard.... Or bowling, we use empty bottles & whatever looks like a ball lol... quite often use a couple of sheets of newspaper scrucnhed into a ball to make it a bit harder
We just made paper butterfly finger puppets just using colourful paper and sticky tape/double sided tape. I did all the cutting etc so i should just say I made lol but 2.5yr old was happy for about 15mins. So hard to keep them entertained inside for very long when it's raining isn't it!
I'm a creative person but struggle to find creative things to do with my son that are child friendly.

thats my issue, my DD is able to do most things i can think of..cooking stuff, painting, crafts etc but my DS isnt even 2 yet and i struggle to find things that hes able to join in on and still be challenging enough that DDs happy. atm im about to let them help me make lunch by mixin a tiny bit of food dye in some milk and letting them 'paint' the bread for their sandwiches..this will either be very good fun..or very very messy *sigh*
What about dress ups.
You join in wear daddy clothes lol.
Read book to them { get them to help make cozy corner with cushions favorite blankets etc.}
If you have blackboard let them draw on it.
Or call friends over let play with others . Hopefully while u have coffee with other mum .

Hey at least your trying something new wink Kudos for that! Hope it wasn't too messy lol
Boys are tricky on inside days, they seem to not get into activites that involve sitting still, at least that's the case with my DS. He has one of those little trampolines with a padded handle bar that he goes crazy jumping on which is good for burning off energy when inside. Otherwise he likes playing with empty nappy boxes and running around with them on his head. He also enjoys listening to music and dancing sometimes, more like crazy running around dancing laugh

well DS has gone to bed now and DD is watching a movie..so im having a huggies fix then preping dinner, then i can do some one=on-one craft with her smile its been a looooong day
put them in the bath or shower with poster paints. Let them paint the shower screen. Easy to clean up or they cam wash it off before they get out and themselves...
