Playgroups in Stokes Valley/Lower Hutt

Hi,
I want to find a playgroup in Stokes Valley or Lower Hutt for me and my 8 month old son, but I'm really nervous about having to meet new people. So I'm just wondering if anybody knows of a good playgroup I could join that isn't a group of people who have been getting together since pregnancy because I don't want to feel like we're intruding on some secret Mummy-Baby club... If that makes sense...

On a side note, I'm only looking because people tell me it will be good for Jack, if it's too early for a playgroup then I'm ok just hanging out with baby during the day but if it is important then I need to suck it up and try find one

Iv been looking for a nice playgroup also but to shy to just turn up at them!
I was going to the naenae one but now we have moved up Tirohanga I'm looking for one abit closer!
My girl Lucy is 3 in October and my next is due July.

Have you had any luck in finding one?
