Swollen Pelvis

So I took my DS to the dr (hsi spots were just thrush for the record) tonight after my DH found his penis and testicles all swollen during a diaper change (I didn't notice, but now I know its there I can tell the difference). His dr wants us to come back in tomorrow so she can look again to see if it is worse, or if it's just cause he'd been crying non stop since three, despite been winded, fed and clean, (we'd been out I thought he might just be over worked it was a bit of a full on day).
He's still unsettled now, and I'm wondering if a hernia, or water retention etc. would be making him unsettled and if DH and I are in for a long night, he hasn't slept more than half hour maybe since about 10/30am this morning, its quarter to eight now. He's needs to sleep...

Being that he is so young, I would be inclined to take him to the hospital to get him looked at further, especially if he is still unsettled and upset. I wouldn't wait for things to get any worse. Is he still feeding properly and having wet nappies?

The doctors say it hydroceles which aren't supposed to be painful but he's so unsettled that i think the must be. I'm tempted to take him back but i don't know if i should just power on through

I think it's always best to get them checked if you have any concerns and given that he is still unsettled and not happy then I would be going back for sure, he is so young and young babies can go down hill so fast that it's not worth mucking around.

His hydroceles have gone down now, and both testicles are back in place. Thank goodness, hopefully they wont be back again.
