4 week old has a cold Rss

Hey
My DD is fully breastfed and still somehow she has a cold sad poor girl she is really struggling to breath through her nose. Any tips to help her?
I thought that breastfeeding a newborn is supposed to strengthen their immune system lol..
TIA
Also about a week ago she got a random rash which was red and was all over her body we called the hospital but they were not concerned now she has this cold so alot going on with her feel so bad
Oh no, its so hard when they are that little. You can buy saline drops for her nose at the chemist. They say to use it before and after feeds. They also have like a snot sucker (lol sounds gross and can't remember the actual name but it works really well). Also elevating one end of her bassinet/cot will help with sleeping. Lots of cuddles and hope she is better in no time smile

It's fess little noses smile really helps miss dd when she gets a cold. Good luck hope she gets better soon.
yeah tough for bubs, but also hard for mum, esp if you have another. fess is good. but they hate it. i think its even too early for panadol. during sleep periods use a humidifier. steam is great for them. just use water, they don't need the eucalyptus added.
my 2, also fully BF. but still prone to early colds. go figure.
Little man got his first cold at 4 weeks took him to the doctor. I was told that to bf when he wanted it and give him extra cuddles .

I put baby vick's on his feet with socks on and that help.

If your DD has a temp take her to the doctor.
