DD was born at 32 weeks
Weight: 2.45kg
Length: 47.5cm

She was huge for a 32 weeker and thankfully was only in hospital for 3.5 weeks but really struggled putting on weight from there and almost ended up back in hopital a couple of times. At 11 months she is still only 8.1kg and i'm not sure on length but she is fairly short (short legs, long body)

Luka was born at 33 weeks
weighing 1515gms or 3lb3oz
length was 41cm
He was real little but put on weight super fast.

Brock born at 36 weeks due to breech and mother being diabetic
was a c section
3 kilos
7 days in special care due to low sugar and not sucking (milk)

Makayla - 2374 grams and 45cm long
Chloe - 1980 grams and 47cm long

They spent 3 weeks in NICU/SCN due to immature lungs & needed to gain weight. Now they are well up to normal weight & developmentally on track.

Even though minewere what they call "Premie" they never really needed care. Humidi only for 4 days.

My first was @ 38wks and docs said she was at least 2-3 wks overdue!!! She was my heaviest @ 6lbs 11ozs. I think my grandfather was really watching over me.

Now 19 months and still only 8.5kilo

Kade wasn't technically premmie if you go by his gestation (37 weeks)but he was still a NICU bub.

My little girl was born at 36wks + 3 on 01/11/2008

Weight - 2625g (5lb 12oz)
Length - 49cm
HC - 32cm

She was premature due to me having excessive amnio fluid causing the waters to break early.
She also had jaundice and was tube fed for the first week.

My son Josh

Born 32+5 weeks
Weight - 1524g
Lenght - 44cm

Now 4.5months and weighs 6.5kgs. He loves his milk.

My dauhgter was born at 35weeks gestation, weighing 1.43kgs(approx 3lb 1.3oz).

I had suspicions for a while that my belly was too small. Doctors recommended an ultrasound at 34wks and found she was only 1.4kgs. I was in hospital for the next week for monitoring. Another ultrasound a week later showed almost no change in size and weight and so she was delivered by c-section immediately.

She was in NICU for 2 weeks and in SPN for 2 more weeks. She had no complications and was discharged after 4 weeks weighing 1.8kgs. (Was soooo scared taking home such a small baby!!)

She's now 14 weeks old, weighing 3.4kgs and looking more gorgeous everyday!! Getting her to sleep on her own is major issue at the moment...aargh!!

I am a bit worried to hear stories of babies that are small after 18months, because we were always told that she would catch up by 12months (18months max).

Would like to hear more on how premmie's (especially IUGR babies) reach their size, language and other milestones.
