donating newborn clothes

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can donate baby clothes to? I want to donate them somewhere, where they will be free to someone who needs it. I have heaps of 0000 and 000 that havent been worn or worn only once because my son was born weighing 5.41kg so you can imagine the 0000 didnt even fit and the 000 only fit for like a week if that lol.

Have you thought of womens refuge?

The ladies they help have often ran and had to leave everything behind.

Or hospitals?

I used to work at a women's refuge and for us baby clothes was something we never had enough of, particularly for boys!
A lot of women would leave while pregnant because it's a crazy but true stat that pregnancy can bring out the violence n men.... Then the baby's would be born while they were with us. Many women are too financially stressed to be able to buy much, it was always such a great thing to be able to give them what we could

You can try on most hospitals eapecially the public ones. They seek a lot of donations and
Volunteers. Or bettet yet to adoption children and baby homes. That woyld
