Getting baby to sleep

Hi there
I know this subject has been done over and over but I just wanted to know if anyone out there has trouble with thier baby and sleeping during the day and what to do when nothing works!!!

My four month old will not sleep during the day, AT ALL! she sleeps all right after her bath at night around 8pm and will wake up maybe once around 11pm and once around 4am but once it hits the day she will not sleep, I put her down when she is happy and then she plays for a bit then starts to cry, I leave her for a bit then go in, settle her, then leave her again and again she crys it goes on and on and even when I leave her longer and longer,its hard work she won't stop screaming, when i go in there and she see's me she smiles and is happy, she's fed, burped and changed so I know nothing is wrong! HELP

my DS has never really liked having naps! When he was 4 months old I would either rock him to sleep on my lap while watching cartoons or use the bouncer which was an absolute god send o and a dummy! Somedays it would take awhile but you just have to perservere. Good luck
