Sex and getting back into shape Rss

Hi ladies

I had my second 11 days ago. I Was wanting to know how early you felt like some 'fun time'?
I have stitched -still healing slowly but not sore anymore thankgoodness! I lost all sex drive when I was pregnant this time and the last day or so I have noticed it coming back but I have to wait for my bleeding to stop and stitches to heal. I feel a little crazy considering it's not even two weeks since giving birth!!!

My other question is when did you start 'working out'? I'm going to try and get a medical clearance in the next day or so, so that at least I can maybe start off doing pilates and yoga and then work up to more strenuous activity.
We waited 2 weeks. Although I had a c section, it was still uncomfortable to start with.
I bled for about 5 weeks with each baby so we tried at about 6 weeks. It was very uncomfortable first time so we didn't take it too far (felt like first time again). It was about 8 or 9 weeks before it actually started to feel normal again.

Just make sure that your partner is aware of how you are feeling. I was a bit nervous so my partner was very gentle and took it all slowly.
Definitely wait with the fun bit until your bleeding has stopped and then just see who it feels, if it hurts stop if not go for it smile

Re exercise post pregnancy, you can start walking pretty much right away. If you want to do other exercise you should make sure to be checked over by a professional (now sadly that does not include your GP, unless you have a very awesome one, most of them don't do the important checks at all sad ) ie dont just go to a gym and get a programme from a gym instructor. There are a lot of little things your 'trainer' (no matter what exercise you do) should be checking for as your body goes through huge stresses during pregnancy.. your abs might be separated, your body not aligned the same as before etc
Most importantly work on your core, if you can get your core strong again then you ll be good to get into more strenuous exercise sooner, your stomach will lose it's 'flabbiness' and you won't be prone to get back pains.

We waited 6 weeks to have sex again. I wanted the all clear from the doc. You can do other things prior to that, doesn't have to be sex. If you get my drift tongue

I waited 12 weeks before full on exercising again. Just wanted to make sure everything was healed well as I had a c-section.
