Valco Rad/iCandy Pram

Hi All - not sure if anyone is interested but thought I'd share what I found today. I bought my Valco Rad pram approx 5 years ago with my first born, now onto bub #3 and was looking around at some kind of pram that would take a capsule (rad no longer being sold so no help there) stumbled across the iCandy Apple pram, which they told me at Baby Kingdom is the same at the Valco Rad just re-badged (apparently Valco had trouble selling them so they let the Patent lapse and iCandy jumped on it) ANYWAY! it works out that the Safe n Sound capsule adaptor kit ($60) fits into the Valco Rad frame and I can now use my Rad along with this adaptor to clip in the capsule.... I was so excited that I didnt have to buy a whole new pram and that I can now interchange the iCandy accessories with my Rad. I did HEAPS of research on this and hope that if anyone is in this same position that maybe I have saved them a bit of time. Obviously Baby kingdom weren't happy about my using the icandy items for my Rad (not recommended of course) and to be honest not overly helpful about the whole thing but after 2 trips to the store, I finally got somewhere! sorry this post is so long winded...

I'm possibly looking at upgrading my pram & would need a double & was looking at the icandy peach blossom (although no way could afford one) as I knew it as the 2 seats & has the Unity capsule adaptor.
I found out that the Valco rad is the same as icandy but wasn't sure what model.

Can I ask you does your rad have the option for 2 seats?

Hi Sorry no the Valco Rad doesn't have the capabilities for two seats.
