Huggies Change Mat

This is my first post. I got a Huggies change mat at my Baby Shower, as part of a newborn box. It is brand new, never used, but the outside is sticky. Has anyone else had this happen? Any suggestions?

This is my first post. I got a Huggies change mat at my Baby Shower, as part of a newborn box. It is brand new, never used, but the outside is sticky. Has anyone else had this happen? Any suggestions?

Is it one of the disposable ones? One side is plastic and sort of tacky to make it stick to the surface you use it on. It's normally blue. And the other side is usually patterned that you put bub on.
