For DS we used my grandfather's name and DP's dad's name combined which worked out to a nice name. Both passed away so very fitting.
DD's middle name is DP's mum's middle name. She also passed away before the kids were born. Just seemed right for us to use family names and I wouldn't have it any other way smile
