weird initials

after finding out the sex of baby (boy! yay!) we settled on a name.. only after settling on the name did we realise his full initials will be ASAP, (not married to my partner and neither of us felt like it was a good reason to get married just because we're having a baby, hence a hyphenated last name meaning his initials have 4 letters). It caused quite a giggle, but over all it doesn't worry us, why? Because it's not rude and apart from it being an acronym for 'as soon as possible' it doesn't mean much. Besides, this girl I know gave her daughter a name with the initials TIT (yes really). So has anyone met or named their kid something only to realise the initials later on?

Aw ASAP is cool initials!!
When I got married to my DH I didn't have to change my initials EAB.

ME - 23

We quite like the ASAP tongue main reason for not getting married is both of us don't really like the whole idea hehe, but the BIG discussion was on whose last name will baby get (lasted for weeks with neither of us wanting him to just have our last name as we both got teased for our names in school).. we just settled for both and thus ASAP came around.

ASAP is pretty cool for initials. smile I say go with it!
We're having a lot of trouble with names too, partly because of initials. Our last name starts with an O, so we can't have B.O. or NO or HO or UFO or anything like that. It eliminates half the letters in the alphabet!

Initials are so hard! We weren't worried much about it, we just found it to be quite amusing, he's going to be a little ASAP hehe! O is quite a hard one.. but it could also be a fun one to muck around with until you find the right name.. I giggled at UFO its quite cute tongue
