Boy names... Rss

Hi everyone!

This is our first baby and my partner and I can't seem to find any boy names that fit with the last Douglas that we both like. Any suggestions?

We find out we're having on the 2nd of July, but it'd be nice to have some names we like for both genders.

For girls, we've got Sofia and Anastasia. At the moment we are leaning more towards Sofia, but that could change...

Thankyou! smile

Do you guys have any style of name that you prefer?

I don't think we really have a style.. but we seem to like more traditional names.

We're trying to avoid a name that everyone seems to have (my brothers name is James and there were four James' in the one primary school class one year, he found it frustrating and confusing) but not so out there that most people will have trouble pronouncing it.

I hope that's not too picky!
Boys name can be a bit tricky! I like names that are different but not waaaay out there! Some boys names I like are Chase & Chance but more traditional I like Charlie & Will We were lucky and picked our name before we even found out! I just had this feeling it was a boy!

Hope you guys find something you like smile
This is my 3rd child, but 1st boy, & i'm sooo stuck for names aswell..
Maison
Deacon
Zander
Samuel
Ryder
Marcus
Noah
Jack
Austin
&
Xavier
are on my list, so there are a few older & newer & popular & not so common on my list... Hope that helps in some way...

Defiantly tricky! I love the name Chase, but DP doesn't. That's the issue we're having, there are so many names but we just can't seem to agree on them or find the right fit! I'll keep you posted smile

Thanks! I read them out. He likes Noah & Maison. I like the name Maison too- finally one we have both agreed on! It's a start.
It's such a difficult decision, there are the names that we like but aren't really prepared to name our child. We were thinking of Alexander and Nathaniel for a little while but after talking about them decided against it. I suppose I should just hold off until I find out the gender. Thankyou for your suggestions & good luck with finding the perfect name! smile I'll post when I actually find out whether we're having a boy or girl.

It's definitely harder this time around.
Because our girls have older names i wasn't sure if we should stick to that kind of 'theme' or go with something outrageous. But then i thought well my husband has a son to a previous relationship & his name is Kaleb so i thought well, we could just go for a more common name to match with Kaleb. My husbands opinion is, At some stage of the child's life, they will dislike thier name & wished they were called something else! lol wacko

We've had trouble thinking of boys names too and while we dont want to know the sex of the baby, we'd like to have a few options for either gender....

Boys names we're leaning towards are:

Harvey (our favourite)
Harrison
Henry
Noah

Girls names we like:

Isabell
Abigail
Ivy
Zoe
