FINAL NAME FOR BABY BOY! Rss

Hi I'm currently 32 weeks and really trying to finalise what we are going to name our baby boy.

We really like Harrison and Harry as well as Tayte/Tait, however we have quite a long surname (Snepvangers) so not wanting to pick a name that is too long.

What name do you like the best or does anyone have any other suggestions?
I like Harrison smile

Do you have a middle name, because I think Harrison Tait sounds nice. smile

Thanks for the reply, we actually probably like Harrison the best but I was a little worried that it would be a long name when combined with our surname. The middle name will be Jim after DH.
It's only going to be long for him to write lol. No one really calls you by your full name anyway, so I don't think it matters how long/short his name is. smile

If you like it that's all that matters. smile

I like Tate, and I think it goes better with your surname
I like Harrison Jim, think it matches your name better than Tait...and I wouldnt worry about the long name, he will get a nickname whether you want him to or not.
I wouldnt worry too much it doesnt sound too long!
We have picked Benjamin or Alexander for our little boy and our last name is Applebee, also he is going to have a very long middle name as the two we have are just as long as the other two names! You wont have to say his whole name a lot and I think i like harrison the best!!

I like Harrison Tait but most boys I know with the name Tait/Tayte/Tate spell it TATE (makes sense ie KATE).
Well if you're worried about it being long, I wouldn't...our 3 year old's name is Harrison Christopher Kelly - and it suits him perfectly. It is long, but really, how often is he going to use his middle name in general life? If you like it - go with it! I think Harrison Tate is beautiful though!
Thanks for everyone's opinions. I agree I prefer the spelling of Tate. I think I still prefer the name Harrison, but DH is coming around to Tate (we have had some mixed reactions from family and friends though!) so we will wait and see....
I Ilike both Harrison and Tate (I like this spelling too as I think Tayte could have mis pronunciation) smile

I definately like Tate the best especially with such a long surname!
I'd highly recommend Nate too but I'm biased as that's my Nate in my profile pic! wink
Good luck deciding! smile
