I have a gorgeous little girl, Helena Angeliki, both names are chosen from family names. I am 22 weeks with second girl. I love the name Doris Avelyn - "Dottie" as nickname. Doris is my grandmother's name, i don't feel any overwhelming sentimental attachment to her, but i just love the name, but i'm beginning to think i'm the only one. Can i please get some thoughts from others. I have a sense of humour and can handle honest feedback...

What about Avelyn Doris? Avelyn is beautiful and if you have Doris as a middle name you could still give her the nickname Dottie?

I agree with Mummy&Baby - Avelyn Doris is a lovely name. I'm personally not a fan of Doris as a first name but it's totally up to you smile
