DS 11/3/07 DD 2/7/09

Hi Linda,congrats to you!!

I can join you!!!! yay, kind of...

haven't told DH yet, found out on wednesday, we weren't trying, i was hoping to but DH hadn't decided yet, so a little nervous about telling him. I have DS1 - 4 in Jan, and DS2 just turned two, so hoping for a little pink bundle this time.

Are you feeling anything yet? I'm not really, kinds doesn't feel real as I haven't told anyone yet. I have done about 4 HPT though, all BFP!
YAY!!!! Congrats sharynd+2 smile how exciting!! I was a bit nervous telling DH too, he wasn't as keen on numer 3 as I was. He is excited now though. I hope your DH takes the news really well, I'm sure he will.

I'm not fussed if this bub is pink or blue but DS has decided he wants a brother.

I've got that delightful metallic taste in my mouth and feeling really hot but apart from that nothing really.

DS 11/3/07 DD 2/7/09

Hi there! Can I join as well? Just got my BFP yesterday!!!

I am 26 and my DH is 27, I have 3 kids from a previous relationship so this is my 4th but it is my DH's 1st after trying for a little over 2 years. Have got my first dr appointment on Thursday. We are really really excited!!! grin
Hi Peaches! Congrats on your BFP grin that's fantastic!!! How very exciting for you and your DH. Have you told your other children yet?

I haven't made a drs appointment yet blink I better get onto that on Monday

I have to keep reminding myself that I'm pregnant, just waiting until the all day sickness kicks in, then it will all come flooding back LOL

Linda

DS 11/3/07 DD 2/7/09

Hey such a hot day today!! No we haven't told the kids yet, we want to wait til I have seen my Dr and we know everything is ok then we will tell them, I am pretty sure once we tell them then everyone else will know within a week lol

Hope your day is going well
hello again ladies!

well, told DH yesterday and was very suprised at his reaction. I was the one shaking like a leaf and heart pounding, and he just kept saying its alright, sit down, dont stress. He said "if it makes you feel any better, i decided yesterday (friday) that I wanted another baby" thank goodness grin grin . he actually said he was more excited than he thought he would be, i said i thought i'd be over the moon but i wasn't, but only because i was scared what his reaction would be, but i am getting excited now!

My first pregancy i had really bad morning(all day and night) sickness for 8 months, not so bad with second, so i am wondering if it will kick in this time. I have had the odd wave of nausea and i hope it stays that way.

hope you are all well!!
That is fantastic sharynd!!! Congrats on your BFP!

I am starting to feel so yukky at the moment. If I don't eat for ages I feel really sick, couldn't hide the sickness from the kids so we told them this evening. DS wants a brother of course and he has already suggested a name lol and miss8 was excited and miss 5 smartly said "I know mummy sheesh" lol hmmm so maybe she knew before us lol
You must be feeling so relieved sharynd, how sweet is your DH smile I had all day ms for the whole pregnancy with DS and nearly the whole time with DD but tbh I felt slightly reassured by it (meaning bub was hanging in there - this is my 6th knowm pregnancy) so hoping it kicks in soon. Feeling slightly queasy sometimes but not often.

Peaches your kids sound adorable, how cute smile Was DS's name suggestion a good one? My DS suggested Batman LOL blink Hope the ms doesn't get too hard to cope with

DS 11/3/07 DD 2/7/09

Hey, yeah DS's suggestion wasn't too bad it was Theron after his best friend of course lol.

Yeah am up late at the moment, DH is snoring his head off next to me and I'm feeling a bit queezy, I can't lay down flat. Sitting up helps. I suppose it is a good sign isn't it.

I was going to go through my Dr like I did with the others, but talking with DH more there is a big chance we won't make it to North Shore hospital so will have to go to Waitakere, I have never had a midwife before only my GP who is registered as a midwife too. So going to make some phone calls tomorrow, it is weird though I was still going to the loo all day checking for AF PMSL!

hehehe batman! I love it!!
Morning all,

Mind if i join? got my BFP on Friday. This will be #3 for me, and DF's #2. but our first bubba together. so excited. and really nervous. not going to tell kiddies for awhile (dont want the ex's fam to know)

my belly is already quite sencitive and feels like ive pulled a muscle or something. i dont remember feeling anything this early with DS or DD.

Congrats to everyone who has got BFP smile

Hey princess congrats on your BFP!!!!!
Congrats on your BFP Princess grin and so glad you are joining us. I've been getting the pulled muscle feeling too, I dont remember it being this early either but I'm thinking my tummy muscles aren't quite what they used to be smile

Peaches, Theron is a much better choice than Batman LOL!! Feel your pain with having a snoring DH sad That's weird - I was thinking of trying to go through my local Dr this time instead of the midwives lol. I saw midwives with both my kids at the hospital but it is a fair distance from my house (and the waiting time was horrible) so thinking might try shared care this time smile All the midwives I've seen were fantastic though so feeling a bit torn. I've been checking for AF too wink

DS 11/3/07 DD 2/7/09

I don't know aye Batman has a certain ring to it, and he doesn't have to have a last name PMSL. I am so sick today, I thought I would be able to hold down my quiche but I couldn't unfortunately, it was such a yummy quiche too! So I'm sipping water and ginger beer and having a ginger nut every now and then, seems to be stopping the vomiting but still feeling queezy in the tummy.
Can you imagine the poor kid at school? Especially if its a girl LMAO

You poor chicken sad Hope the ms doesnt last long - keep up the bikkies if they are working smile

DS 11/3/07 DD 2/7/09

Batman still has a nice ring to it lol at least you won't have to give a last name, and if it was a girl she would be the coolest kid at school!!
Hi Girls - looks like I can join you all smile

I got my BFP on sunday after 18 months of TTC a sibling for my 2.5 yr old DD. Yay!!! I look forward in sharing the pregnancy with all of you... where are you all from? Im from the Central Coast NSW in Oz.

Not many symptoms as yet. Sore BB's on and off. A little bit nauseous occasionally but still feeling quite good. I didnt find out with DD till almost 6 weeks and MS didn't kick till around then so hopefully this is the same smile

I think Im due around the 7th of August. Going to GP tomorrow so I can get a blood test to confirm and hopefully some weekly blood tests to monitor if they rise. I had a mc in June so im a little anxious.

Congrats to all of you smile

Jodie

LOL Peaches still think Batman is a yeah nope though grin DS would love that you were on his side hehe

Congrats on your BFP Jodie smile YAY!!!! Glad you are joining us!! I'm so very sorry for your loss oxo, pregnancy after MC is pretty nerve racking. If you ever need an ear I'm happy to listen. I'm in Adelaide in South Australia. I'm not having many symptoms yet either but I'm sure they will kick in very soon for us all smile

Goodnight and sticky vibes to all

Linda

DS 11/3/07 DD 2/7/09

Fingers crossed i get to join this thread!!!
Congrats on th BFP Jodie.

lol. now i have the batman tune in my head. the kids at DD's daycare hav a batman song. lol

Im already planning suitable clothing to wear for xmas and while around friends. going to keep this to ourselves for as long as poss. looking like no bikini for me at new yrs. lol Have a feeling im going to show pretty early too. im a size 6/8.

Havnt had much ms yet, just feel abit off every now and again, FX it doesnt get too bad. with DS i never vomited, just felt sick all the time.

I havent been to the doctors yet, going to wait another week. then gotta find a midwife. scary stuff!! lol

Paige 23/5/06 Tyler 27/11/08

Princess - I am the same 6/8. I when I had #3 I was showing at about 10 weeks so I guess I will start getting a bump soon then.

I had a bit of brown blood this morning, nothing major but of course i panicked because i had never had that before, called the midwife and she assured me it was fine, thank goodness I sorted midwife yesterday! She it is perfectly normal as long as I am not in pain and it isn't bright red and lots of it. It seems to have stopped, really only noticed when i went to the loo so fingers crossed it doesn't happen again. Guessing all is ok anyway because I'm back to having the niggly fealings in my tummy and still a bit queezy. lol

I have been looking on TM for maternity clothes but where else is there to look? I think kmart has a maternity section too don't they?
Fingers crossed Mrs26!!! Hope you are joinging us very soon oxo

LOL Princess I dont think Í've worn a bikini since I was..... eek cant even remember back that far bahahahaha. You can still wear one, perhaps pop a sarong on as well?

I'll go to the doctors later this week. Still no real ms for me and the metalic taste is only fleeting. Wish I had a crystal ball ....

DS 11/3/07 DD 2/7/09

Peaches hope you are feeling ok, I've had bleeding early on with both my kids, it is very common (still damned scary though). So glad you had the midwife to reassure you smile
Target have a maternity section too, from memory they had a better range than kmart.

DS 11/3/07 DD 2/7/09

hi everyone,

congrats to all the lucky ladies who have joined since my last post! and FX for Mrs26 too!!

just got some FANTASTIC news, my SIL wo got a BFN over the weekend, has just got her BFP and i was the first person she told, we work together so its a bit hard to hid, she hasn't even told my brother, her DH yet. Its their first and i think i am more excited for her than for me. I still had to lie to her saying i wasnt, as DH wants to keep it quiet for a while. i hate lying and trying to make up stories to cover my lies. but i want to let her have the spotlight for a while, #1 for her is much more exciting than #3 for me. our due dates are 2 days apart!

still feeling ok, i only said to DH this morning, i dont want to jinx myself but apart from a bit tired and sore boobs, i feel ok.

we are in Tweed Heads, just moved here from Sydney last year and LOVE IT up here!!!

Peaches, Big W has a maternity section too, and they have the cute tops like cookie monster saying eating for two, and does my bump look big in this. as well as the bonds maternity stuff which is great and very comfy!
Well I dont know anything about the abbreviations on here but I can join as well.

I am due August 3rd. Have a beautiful little girl who is 1 and my husband and I were trying so we are both so excited.

I have the sore boobs at the moment and the smells have just hit me, which isnt good working in a child care centre
Also has anyone else had any sort of ache in their pelvis region. I have had it all day today. I never had it before and because I have had numerous misscarriages, I am just a bit more nervous than normal
Hi Jess, welcome to the thread and congrats on your BFP!!

Yeah I have been having on off tiny cramps and sore hips over the last week, apparently it is just stretching and your bones softening I ouldn't worry about it smile
