Babies Due March 2012 Rss

Hey Ladies,

I thought that I would start a Babies Due in Marhc 2012 thread.

My EDD is 05th March 2012.

With DS1 I was 6days early and with DS2 I was 4 days early so if I go early it will still be in March.

Congrats to you Mummies that have got a BFP and are due March.

Good Luck with your pregnancies grin
Proud Mummy I am going to join you if that is ok. Even though I think I am due on the 29th Feb I am still not sure. I also really want to be a part of a group where we are going through things together I just feel everyone in the Feb thread are miles ahead of me lol. I am off to the doctor tomorrow to see if I can organise bloods. I am expecting #2.
Yes it will be great if you join me and who ever else joins.

It is always good to have support during pregnancy and also people to talk to when you need anwser's for something.

Last time I went to the dr's at 4 weeks (I'm 3weeks and 3days at the moment) with DS2 they did a pregnancy test and it came up negative and as you could tell I was upset as I had already had 4 positive HPT's so they send me for bloods and it showed up. I said to DH that this time I will wait unitl I'm 5 weeks. As I don't like blood test. Good Luck. Hope to talk to you soon grin
Hi ladies... I'm going to join the forum too. Found out today I'm pregnant smile Yay! like CRs EDD is 29th Feb, but also not sure.

Been to the docs today too but wont go for the bloods for a week or so as I'm sick anyway. Hope you both are feeling well smile

Congrats danikaa on your pregnancy grin

I'm feeling great. No morning sickness so far which is great. I've been super hungry which isn't like me. With DS1 and DS2 I was sick at night time from word go but this time I haven't had anything at night. I better not say too quickly that I'm not going to get it as I may still get it. I'm hoping that the different pregnancy symptoms mean a little girl but I'm happy with another boy as long as bub is healthy that is the main thing. I can't wait for our first scan which will be between 10-13 weeks. That will be the down symdrome scan. We had it with both the boys. We have already told DS1 who is almost 3 and he said to me told that he is going to to gran and grandad that Mummy is having a baby. Tis very cute. I think he is excited. I was pregnant with DS2 on DS1's 1st birthday so I don't think he really understood then but now he does. DS2 doesn't understand just yet as he is only 18 months old grin

Hope that you start to feel better soon. grin
Proud Mum, like you luckily I don't have any morning sickness so far. Didn't last time either, just got a horrible cold right now even though I had the flu jab this year. sad

I've been super hungry too - same as last time. I'm going for the first scan around 6 weeks as last time the scan said my baby was due 2 weeks before the last period dating. That meant last time I missed the 12 weeks scan as baby was too big and I had to get the blood test done. I heard this time though that the things are different and they do more screening for Downs Syndrome? Anyone know much about this?

Since it's so early on for us, have you told anyone? I haven't yet and not sure when to tell my DD as she's three and can't exactly keep a secret. Don't think we'll keep it quiet for 3 months like we did last time though.

Have a great day ladies!

I have a crap cold also at the moment that I can't shake. I have a cough that just will not go away and driving me nuts grin

The last 2 time I haven't been this hungry until later in the pregnancy. I have had the Down Syndrome scan and blood test done with both boys. With DS1 we had a 1 in 411 chance of something being wrong and with DS2 we had a 1 in 17 chance which was very scary. We had to go see a specialist about it to get some advice as what to do. We had a few more scans after that to check DS2 profile. They check bubs nose to see if it measures a different size etc. But that was what they did when I was pregnant with DS2 over 18 months ago. My SIL is pregnant at the moment and I can ask her if it is different to what we had when we were both pregnant at the same when I was pregnant with DS1. I'm also interested to know if anyone else knows if the screening has changed.

We are going to tell my parents and his parents maybe in the next few days so that if I need someone to look after the boys for something then they don't ask questions why and we told them early with both the boys but with everyone else we will tell them before our first scan. That's if I can keep it a secret for that long grin

Hope you all have a great day grin
Hi Ladies,

I would like to join you in this thread, my EDD is March 3rd and this will be number 4 and our lucky last =D
Been pretty good so far, been a little more hungrier than normal and little more tired too. I do get a little nauseous in the morning before i get a chance to eat as organising 3 other kids leaves me little time do anything for myself until they are at school and daycare.
I have a 5yo,3yo and 18mth old, all girls.

Got to say I'm finding it much harder to keep things quiet this time around. Waited till 12 weeks last time to tell most people, but so wanting to tell people already! DH has told me he wants to wait till 12 weeks, but don't think I'll be able to wait smile

Do you ladies know if you're going to use a midwife, obstetrician or someone else this time around? I used a midwife last time who was really good, but unfortunately she's retired now. I had a postpartum heammorage last time too, but don't really want to go with just anyone just in case it happens again.

Hope you all are having a lovely weekend!
Hi Danikaa,

It is really hard to keep it a secret. We told our parents yesterday and they were very shocked but really happy. This will be my parents 5th grandkid and my DH parents 14th (he cames from a family of 6 kids). I can't wait to tell everyone. DH MIL said she had thought that that's what we were going to tell them yesterday as we were meant to have dinner with them last night but changed our minds and went and seen them early and she said that someone had told her that we were TTC and wouldn't tell us who it was.

I had went with my dr and midwife that is at my dr's surgery. And then through the hospital system with a midwife then dr. It's hard these days to find someone you are comfortable with also. Good Luck hope that you find someone.

Hope you have a great weekend grin
Hello ladies!

Well, I finally got a very definite positive, so we'll be due on 1 March. smile

I've been feeling a number of symptoms for the last week now - sore breasts, mild cramping, some nausea (and a complete lack of interest in sweet food for the last couple of days - which is so unlike me!) and I seem unable to go for more than a few hours without needing to pee.

But, despite all this I'm super happy!

How's everyone else doing?? smile
Firstly a Big Congrats mel_k.

I didn't believe my First Response test either when I got my BFP 9DPO. So I went out and got a Clearblue digital and did it with FMU at 10DPO and it came up with 'Pregnant 1-2' I was so excited.

I don't really have many symptoms at the moment. The only ones I really had and still do have was that my pee was a bit darker then normal. I had a metal taste in my mouth which isn't as bad now which is great grin I don't feel sick just yet but I'm only 4 weeks along. I also am very very hungry all the time and need to have something to eat at least every hour. My breast are only just starting to get sore but only if I cuddle either DS1 or DS2 or DH. I'm off to the dr's next week to confirm with them (either though I know I'm pregnant but it's also to get the referral for the ultrasound between 10-13 weeks and blood test referrals etc). With DS2 when I went this early they did a PT there is it came up negative and I got a bit upset after that. They sent me for a blood test it I thought you had to wait a day or so which wasn't the case (the blood test was done mid morning) and I called the dr's the next day and they said that someone should have called me the afternoon before and that it was positive. I thought if I left it til after 5 weeks that I wouldn't need to go for a blood test as I don't like having blood test. I'm a big sook. I hate needles. But I did a HPT with FMU and it came up within 40 seconds and was pretty much the same colour as the control line so I'm thinking of changing my appt to later this week. Sorry for the big story grin

Hope you are all doing good grin
Hello everyone,

My name is Marie from Melbourne. I have 2 daughters already aged 2 and 6 years and have just found out I am today 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Due on 4th March 2012. Both my girls were 2 weeks early so perhaps this baby will be a February baby?

Hope you're all having a great day.

Hi ladies,

I like to join also. I think my due date will be about the 6th of may smile
I miscarried last month and my GP gave us the go ahead to try again without waiting, so much to my surprise we are pregnant again! We didn't 'try' as such, the miscarriage was very emotional and I didn't really even think about trying to get pregnant this month, so I'm feeling extremely blessed! Very very very nervous but trying to think positively. I have a 13 month old son who will make a great big brother smile We waited until 13 weeks to announce his pregnancy, I'd been spotting the entire time so I was a bit hesitant. Only my mum (and hubby) knew about my last pregnancy thar ended in miscarriage. I don't think I'll even tell her this time, not until I've had a scan and seen that beautiful little heart beating smile

I hope everyone else is feeling well and that everything goes smoothly for all of us.

Take care.

Hi Ladies,

Congrats on all your BFP's!!! Wishing sticky dust to everyone! I found out a couple days ago that I am pregnant with my 3rd which will be due on the 6th March. Just got confirmation from a blood test this morning smile

I have two daughters already, Abigail who is 2 and a half and Sadie Jem who is 1 in three weeks. Sadie Jem was delivered via C-section a month early due to preaclamtia (sp?) and being breach so I'm hoping for a VBAC this time around if all goes well.

I never had any morning sickness with either of my girls yet this time I started having morning sickenss even before my period was due so I'm hoping its a boy this time around smile If it is DP said he will be going in for the snip lol. He's loves our girls to pieces but has been hoping for a little boy! smile

Anyways, I just had company rock up.

Best luck everyone!

Hi Ladies,

I've just found out I'm finally expecting at 38 after trying for a year to get pregnant. I'm due about the 7th March. It's taken my partner and myself a week to get over the shock smile
I know I should be keeping it a secret but that has been an epic failure!! I'm only having minimal morning sickness but have turned into a raving monster, is that normal?? Any suggestions on how to stop boobs from hurting?

Congratulations to asll of you!!

Cheers, Mel
Congratulations to everyone for your BFP!!

I went and saw my GP yesterday and had a bit of a scare - I did a blood test on Wednesday morning, and then went back to see my GP on Friday and we arranged for me to go see an obstetrician at the end of the month etc.

I went back on Saturday to pick up a referral, and she had the results of the blood test (which had been misplaced on Friday), and she told me that my HCG level was quite low for the dates I'd given her, and she wanted me to go and get tested again. At which point I started panicking (as you do). She explained that it could just be that I wasn't as far along as I thought I was or it could be that I just had lower hormone levels, as some people do.

She put a rush job on the results and called me yesterday afternoon and told me that my HCG levels were rising as expected, so not to worry, but to go again on Tuesday morning for another blood test just to check they are still rising as expected.

I've also been booked in for a dating scan in a couple of weeks, just to check on the dates as well.

I've stopped freaking out now, but yesterday was a bit rough!!

Any suggestions on how to stop boobs from hurting?

Mel - mine have been sore as well, so at a friends suggestion I went and bought a couple of maternity bras. I'm still sore, but I'm definitely more comfortable now!
Hi ladies! I would love to join!

I think I'm due march 1st...!
Or maybe the first week of march... As with both previous babies I was wrong, so give or take a few days!!!
My last period was may 26th! Just don't know when I ovulated!

I hope everyone isn't to sick I've just come back from the toilet bowl:-( it's irregular but happened a couple of time already!

I've booked into see my obstertrition late July hoping to be around 9weeks then!
And then wont be a lOng wait to have the down syndrome test at around 12 weeks, with which I will have a blood test at about 11.5 weeks & an ultra sound to check fold at the back of the neck! If all's well we might tell family!

My children are
DD 20months
DS 8months

Yes my babies are born 12 months 25mintues apart not planned in anyway!
& the next bub will be maybe 17months apart!
We really wanted our children 12-20months apart!

As I had to have a emergency c-section with 1st bub after trying 2 days of labour & only grtting to 9cm before hell broke loose! and with 2nd bub had a huge bleed so they brought me on and with a full day of contractions 1cm my obstertrition said c-section as I could have and help along drugs;-( was really trying for natural!

Anyway sorry for rambling

DH & I are very happy & hoping we will be alright with 3 bubs under 3!
We r hoping being only 24 we will cope.... wink
& secretly hoping for a multiple birth... As my husband is a twin and we'd love to have twins!!!

All the best to everyone, very excited!

Cherio grin

Welcome to the new ladies and hope everyone else is doing well.

Im off to my GP tomorrow (5 weeks tomorrow), I had an appointment for Friday but Id really like hcg levels tested asap, as Im quite nervous after my m/c last month. So I'll get my referral for a dating scan and referral to an OB tomorrow to smile
Apart from some slightly tender nipples and some bloating Im feeling fine. Anyone else not hungry at all and getting full quickly or just me? Plus im having few cramps and pains which Im hoping are just stretching? Im not very big and my DS was 9 pound so Im not sure if there is anything left to stretch LOL so fingers crossed everything is ok, Im so hesitant to go to the toilet at the moment in case I see blood, but must try and think positively!! I think after my hcg test tomorrow my mind will ease if its a good score, hopefully my GP let me have tests every week or so just to see they are going up.

Talk again soon smile

Thought I'd add myself on and put it in date order for us smile

We have a rent inspection today so was up till all hours of the morning this moring doing last little things, regretting it today as I'm feeling very nauseas and extremely tired! House looks awesome though!

DP and I are starting to stress a bit about this bub as when I returned to work after having Sadie both DP and I bought new cars and are still paying them off. We think we're going to have to sell one of the cars and possibly downgrade the other. And then our doctor went and jinxed us and said I might be having twins cause I started getting morning sickness so early and never got any at all with the girls which means we will need a bigger car! We really both just want to be happy about this baby but we are both worried instead.

Anyways, thats my rant over for this morning. Hope everyone is feeling well!

Love Jess
