Babies Due March 2012

Hey everyone,

I havent had the best 2 days, i have had some bleeding after a dr's visit and then onto hospital which i spent about 8 hours today as they thought i may have been miscarrying sad They took blood and did some tests and gave me an anti d injection as my blood type is O neg. So now i am on rest and back to the dr's tomorrow for another blood test so they can compare the HCG so crossing everything that it stays the same or goes up. I have also been refered to early pregnancy assessment services to make sure it is a viable pregnancy i'll get more info on that tomorrow too.

Really hoping i get good news and everything will be fine, thanks for listening, none of our friends or family know i'm pregnant so i'm sharing with you all.

How is everyone going? I'm doing OK. Last night I felt pretty sick after dinner. We had Chicken Keiv's and roast veg. I have this gut feeling that something isn't right with this pregnancy. I don't know what the go is. I feel like something bad is going to happen.

Just wondering that if you did a HPT at 6 weeks was the line really dark or darker then the control line or was it still darker but not darker then the control line if you get what I mean? When I went to the dr's last Thursday they did a test but the test line was there but not that dark and I was 5 weeks and 3 days. I know they use different test to ones that we get but I'm just concerned that my Hcg levels are not doubling. That's why I have asked about the HPT.

hayhay_1984 - I feel like I've popped out too, I'm about 6 1/2 - 7 weeks. Maybe it's because I know I'm pregnant, so I can 'let go' a bit lol. Relaxing the tummy muscles lol smile

Proud_Mum_of_2_boys - I have had similar feelings. I still don't fully 'feel' pregnant. I can't put my finger on it but am putting it down to that this is my second pregnancy, so it's different. I know my emotions have been a lot worse this time around. But still don't have that feeling yet.

Well I've had a rollercoaster of a week. Looks like we'll be home owners on Friday! Eeek! But with my work things have been very difficult. We have a new manager and I've told everyone that I'm pregnant as my workmate is having twins in 3 months and is borrowing stuff like the capsule and I'll need it back soon! Well I had a day off last week due to a scan and being told that there is a possiblity of miscarrying as the yolk sac was only visible and was behind by a number of weeks. So after having that day off I check my roster, and all my overtime work has been taken off me for the next month. After confronting the boss he told me it's because I was unreliable during pregnancy. Ummm hello, I gave him a minimum of 12 hours notice as it was an urgent scan. So I'm really peeved off and been told to bring the union in and stuff for discrimination, but to be honest I don't want the stress of bringing up a personal grievance etc. So I guess I have to face the music today after telling my boss to basically go stuff himself!

So after a number of breakdowns this week, here I am. And I must admit, it feels great to get it written out! Sorry for the long post though!

JonRah - I was also told by a friend it could be because I was pregnant almost 9 months ago with my first so my body still remembers. So far this pregnancy is so different from my first, no real morning sickness (the vomiting side of it) alot of my cloths are already getting a little tight

Thanks for your replay hayhay_1984. My DH says I'm just worrying over nothing. He said that yes the pregnancy is different and not like my pregnancy with the boys. It's weird as I don't feel pregnant. I still don't have morning sickness just last night where I felt sick after dinner but DH thinks it wasn't to do with the pregnancy but to do with the richness of the Kiev's. I have noticed that I'm starting to pop out and that my jeans that I love don't fit and I can't find my baby belt sad

This is my 3rd pregnancy and it is so different to what I had with the boys. I was sick from about 3-4 weeks with both boys at night time mainly but with this one I haven't felt sick at all just hungry and tired. I did feel sick after dinner last night but as I said to hayhay_1984 DH thinks it wasn't to do with the pregnancy but to do with the Kiev's that we had and that they were too rich. I'm like you where I don't feel pregnant. I know about the popping out feeling. I seen one of my friends on the weekend and she couldn't help but stare at my belly and asked and I didn't lie to her as I couldn't. I said to DH I don't know how much longer we can hide it for. We are hoping not to tell anyone else until 10 weeks before we go for our scan.

That's very not nice to go back to work to find that your overtime had been taken away from you. If you don't mind me asking are they sending you for another scan soon to check again?

Yup, they're sending me for another scan next Tuesday. I keep taking pregnancy tests and the line keeps getting darker and darker each time, so I guess that's a good sign!

I had about 18 scans for my last pregnancy, So 2 scans in the first 7 weeks isn't too bad lol. I was going for weekly scans towards the end of the last pregnancy smile

I have been extremely tired this time around (had my first 12 hour sleep in years last week!) I'm sure I wasn't this tired last time! No morning sickness here either. I had a nauseous feeling for the first few weeks but nothing since smile

Hi, just checking in. All good atm, feeling fat already! Might need to buy new work pants already lol. Taken to wearing my maternity bras as underwire is so uncomfortable.

Proud_mum i have had those feelings on and off since I found out. Don't know why though, never had them with DS. Hormones I guess.

Just have to wait the next 6wks out!! Finding it hard to not tell people though. I keep thinking people are gonna find out before we tell them <img src='http://www.huggies.com.au/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />

nayjay - I'm really sorry to hear your having such a rough time - I hope things work out for you.

JonRah - that really sucks what your boss did and not fair at all, hope you worked it out today.

Proud Mum - It's horrible to feel that way, I have been feeling like that on and off - only took a test on Friday night and not contacting doctor til about 8 wks, just going to ride it out. On the up side I went back to work today after 3 weeks holiday and I had to eat all day to make sure I didn't feel sick and my boobs are sooo sore so I'm taking that as a good sign.

Proud_Mum_of_2_boys - I know what you mean about this being so different to the last pregnancy, this is only my second. Even though there are times on and off I feel nauseous and tired and well constantly peeing and that my pelly has popped I also don't really feel pregnant. I guess because I had such a rough time with my last 24/7 morning sickness from 3 weeks until he was born was horrible, a friend said I must be having a girl then haha. I told 3 good friends I was pregnant and found the 1st is 6 weeks, the 2nd is 4 weeks and the 3rd is 9 weeks. So excited that we are all so close YAY!
