Due January 2013 Rss

well finally seen my MW yesterday, and she was booking my 1st scan so I'm hoping to get it done on a Thursday before my brothers 25th birthday, cos then we will have some great news to tell the family then.

How many bloods have you all had to do?
I have two lots to do in the next 2 weeks, and I hate doing them as the nurses are so ruff, it feels like they are cutting into your skin
Hey ladies,
I'm due on the 17th of Jan with bubs number 3. I have had a bit of breast soreness, mostly when my little one feeds and otherwise just bloating, off most foods and really really tired. I had my first midwife appointment a few days ago. I have caught a cold though so feeling really yuck now with a headache and sore throat. Hoping it will pass soon!
Nice to talk to others at the same stage as me smile
Well all went well at my 12 week scan. Got good results. I thought i was 12 weeks and 3 days but the baby measured 11 weeks and 5 days. But it has grown 1cm since my last scan 2 weeks ago. I have been given 4 due dates! 9th,10th,14th and the 17th of jan! With everything that has gone on they told me it will all settle down and i will get a better date towards the end of my pregnancy! I am just so happy that everyhing is ok, and the baby even waved at us on the screen!!!! It was amazing!! I have had so many ultrasounds but it still amazes me evrytime time smile
I think we are having a girl, everything the same as my daughter! I am very excited!
Goodluck to everyone who is about to have their scans. I had to pay for this scan to be done, cost me $160.50, but it was worth the peace of mind knowing everything was ok with this baby.

Hi everyone!
Just popping on to say hello to the newbies, and congrats to everyone who has their 12 week scans (particularly tamstaar - so glad to hear everything looks good!). No news from me, just trying to survive my MS. Feels like time is crawling along, but I guess it's cause I'm feeling so sick, each day just goes on and on... Haha my poor DD has had to learn the art of entertaining herself these past few weeks. Feel like a crappy mum, but I guess it's just for a few more weeks and then hopefully I'll be back on my feet smile

Omg.... Just saw 'due in march' thread, i still feel pretty 'new' being due in January but I guess end of first trimester is coming up.

How exciting for everyone who's had or has a 12wk scan coming up... My partner has the photos with him lol, it's odd to me having someone who is so excited about this (DS & DD's father was never terribly excited and has never actually met DD).

MS still lingering, 'stretching' pains can be pretty unbearable at times and ob has changed dates on me again. First date I ever got was 29.12, then 06.01 from dating scan, 01.01 from 12 wk scan so dr wants to put it at 04.01.... But bubs will come when they come! I keep wanting to say 'he' because I'm so sure I am having a 'he' cos eerily similar to pregnancy with DS! Anyone else have any thoughts on what they're having!?

I just had my 12 week scan 4 days ago looks all perfect smile! My first bub due january 10th 2013. Looks like it may b a boy in ultrasound pics but not sure will upload one all guesses welcome smilesmile
Hi Ladies
well I am 11 weeks today and still feeling quite sick with all day MS which is being made worse by a thyroid condition I have.Hoping I start to feel alittle better in the 2nd trimester.
Orangelily - I know exactly what you mean I feel so bad that I don't give my daughter the attention she deserves, instead alot of the times she just plays around me whilst I lie on the couch but lets hope things get better soon smile

Congrats on all who are having great 12 week scans. DH and I have decided not to have the scan done but my OB does a quick one when I see her so that makes me feel better being able to see little bubs every month.

Just wanting to know does anyone on here use a doppler???

Hi mums!

Welcome Sally & michelle congrats to you both!

Tamstaar I'm so glad you had a good scan and the little one waved. Thats so cute.

Michelle-i'm glad theres someone else here thats breastfeeding, I would love to know how the whole milk factory works when you have another baby.... does the newborn get colostrum or does the toddler suck it up before the little one gets a chance. Does your body know to make enough milk for both? Does anyone know?

My scan is booked for the 17th and omg $190!!! I'm getting ripped off here sad

I'm feeling a little sad and depressed today. Found out that DH most likely has to go to Canada in mid jan and will miss the birth. We will skype but otherwise I have to deliver all alone. He will then miss the first few weeks of the babys life till I can organise passport and visa for the little one. Then I have to fly a 29hr journey with a newborn, a toddler and 7yo by myself, and going from 40 degrees to -4 snow!!! OMG how will I manage that? I have no idea. DH is devastated too as this is our last child.

Hey everyone there is a facebook page started. If you would like to be added PM me and i can add you smile

Hope everyone is well. Im 13weeks and loving it!

Hi Everyone,

Brand new member here grin

Here is a little bit about me. I'm 25, DH is 32 (on Sat). We have been married 2.5 years, with two dogs, a cat and a ferret. I am due on January 8th, with baby number 1, and DH is over the moon!! He has been wanting kids for a very long time. This baby wasn't exactly planned, but a lovely surprise wub

I've already had my NT scan and our OB was thrilled with our risk, saying it was the lowest he had seen in a VERY long time!! Our NT scan cost $250 though, so feeling quite ripped off here gasp
