Have you had a scan at all? My blood level when I got my bloods done was 481 and I was 4weeks 4 days I have my dr's appt tomorrow so am assuming I will get my next lot of bloods tomorrow. As for the scan I assumed it was normal to get a dating scan done depending on how close you were to the 12 weeks.

No scan at all,I asked midwife about dating scan she said no just one at about 12 weeks so Im thinking maybe some midwives are different with dating scans?
My bloods last monday were 560 and we think I would of been 4weeks 5 days so sounds similar to yours nurse said 560 just meant I would be 3-5 weeks

I am waiting to have my scan, next tuesday is the day!! Very excited!!! Went to the baby shop today as i didnt think i was having anymore and got rid of all my things!! I am just looking at prams and carseats! I was so excited laugh
I did keep alot of baby clothes, i just couldnt part with them <img src='http://www.huggies.com.au/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />
I cant wait to tell evevrybody, still kept it quiet for now, i might tell my family after my scan, i just want to make sure everything is ok first!

Thanks minibee for the reassurance, I haven't had any further spotting since yesterday morning so I am trying to stay positive! Went to the docs anyway and he said it sounds normal and told me to get some bloods done, so down I went to the clinic, and they were having trouble getting blood from me which is very unusual as I have nice plump veins... next thing I know I've fainted, and had a seizure! Apparently fainting and seizures together are normal, but it was really scary to be told that I was convulsing in the chair. I'm not a fainter, so I will put this down to pregnancy I think! I'm booked in for a scan in 3 weeks, so I think once that is done and I see a nice strong heartbeat I will feel more confident, but until then we aren't telling friends as yet. My parents and the in-laws know already - I am terrible at hiding anything from them! And anyway, they all get suss when I won't have a wine wink

Tamstaar I can't wait to start buying some things too! Although I haven't thrown anything out as such, I want to buy a capsule (I didn't have one with DD and I think it would have been quite handy to have) and set up the nursery (didn't get to do that with DD as we were living with the in-laws at the time), and just other little things.

Anyone got any morning sickness yet? I already feel a little queasy in the evenings, and my boobs hurt on and off, but that's about it at the moment.

Saw dr and saw my mw today. Have the same mw from my last two pregnancys and she is fantastic!!!

Got my first set of bloods done this morn. dr tried working out due date could be anywhre from 20-27th jan.

Mw sending me for an early scan within the next few weeks so just a wee waiting game to we see our lil bean.

ha ha we did the same thing with our daughter, we told her to tell the grandparents only though that she is going to have a brother or sister. She keeps telling us she wants a brother heaven help us if it isnt lol.

How are you feeling? I dont know if its me but I have popped really quick with this one and my stomach feels constantly huge and when i look at food I really feel like I cant fit it in lol.

I was reading through previous posts about a facebook group a group can be set up and being that little secrecy we have because of how far along we are we can be the only ones to view or read posts in the group but I would need members to add to it before I set it up.

Im feeling good apart from not being able to eat much cause i start to feel full very quickly sad Its our DD 1st birthday in 2weeks and im hoping i can eat heaps smile
Yeah we should set one up soon maybe once we are all 12ish weeks then the people that want to keep things quiet for now can.

Hi Ladies,
I hope that you don't mind me joining in.. New to the forum and got our first ever BFP last week!
I have been off the pill for nearly 2 years and actively trying for 12 months with lots of ups and downs and issues with my cycles in between. We were seeing a fertility specialist and planning to start fertility meds this cycle but got a BFP instead!
Very excited but also very nervous as I know that it is still early days..
EDD is the 24th of Jan and I have a scan on the 7th of June.
Look forward to getting to know you all!

Such awesome news when you have been trying for a while. We were in the same boat and know how hard it can be.

Skismo - How exciting for seeing your midwife must make it feel real now.

OrangeLilly - No morning sickness here just a general feeling of "blah" and being tired no other signs for me which sometimes worries me I really cant wait to get my scan done so I know that something is there. how scary for you lucky you were already at the dr's when it happened but I hope your ok now.

Tamstaar - I am the same as you I am getting my scan done Friday week and will tell everyone once we know everything is ok, the day really cant come quick enough.

Xaviers Mum - How scary for you I hope you haven't contracted it.

Rant - Over the last week I have been feeling gross and very blah. Completely different from 1st pregnancy and now this morning I woke up feeling normal and really good. I had an emotional moment last night my daughter has hit a stage where her speech includes some stuttering not very bad and I know most toddlers at some stage hit this phase but i couldnt help but get upset at the thought that if it were permanent how she would get teased. Has anyone else's kids gone through stuttering?

And thank you amerie.. yes it is difficult isn't it? particularly when people all around you seem to fall pregnant first go.. it really turned into one of the most difficult and challenging times in my life.. though patience and persistence has paid off grin
