water birth at kemh and stay in time

Hi I am due with bub 3 in Nov and would like a drug free water birth- My last birth i made it in 15 minutes due to kaleya telling me they were very busy and might not be able to see me (so i stayed at home too long) and don't want same experience.

Worried that birthing centre makes you leave very early after birth?

any ideas?

ive only heard good stories about the birth centre at kemh

The birthing centre at KEMH do make you go home quite early after birth. We went there for a tour and they told us you go home within 24 hours of birth, but that they are petitioning to make this 6 hours - which is just crazy.
And although they currently say 24 hours it does not mean you will actually get the full 24 hours - I know mothers who only got 8 cause they were getting busy.
We are going to Armadale hospital, but as private patients. Armadale do water births, and being private we get up to 4 nights stay.
