c section 3 months ago and still hurting Rss

My baby was born 3 months ago on Saturday just gone via emergency c section. I was cut open (this may be too much info for some) above the top triangle part of my vagina on my lower stomach pretty much from one pelvic bone to the other due to complications during labour. I'm still getting stomach pain every day under my bust area and also down where its scarred. Its all healed up and closed I had my stitches removed a few days after discharge. Is it normal to still feel pain?
I agree with Maru08. Get it checked out as soon as possible cause i got an infection in my scar and it was painful, but now it is just the itching that drives me insane nearly 2 years later but bio oil seems to work. Good luck
I would go see your GP, it doesn't sound right at all. As soon as you see them your mind can be out to rest smile

Hey I am in pain just above the scar incision, as that is where the pulling and tugging was done, and you know they stitch up to six layers of skin inside? I have a bit of nerve damage at 2 months postpartum EMCS too. The OB did a wonderful job and the scar is not noticeable but above it where the baby was pulled out is sore and may remain that way for up to five months making it a six month recovery before I can go to the gym so what you are experiencing sounds normal but I would check it out with my doc as that is how I found out I had nerve damage

Geez 6 month recovery, I almost had an emergency c section kinda glad I didn't. I would go to the GP better to be safe than sorry. Good luck hope it gets better. Arisa is right though, the stitches you see is literally the tip of the ice burg, you have uterus stitches, muscle stitches, etc. Don't stress could be normal, just check it out.
Hiya,
I have a 3 month baby girl(c section)when I was 7 months peragant
I would get sharp pain under my right breast. After 5 painful
days i found out I have gallstone. I get sharp pain on my left hip after my
C section.
hey lovey go check it out with a gp.. mine got infected and was over night pumed fill of anti biotics etc. even if it is nothing better t be safe than sorry
Just had it checked before the weekend at gp and have a referral for an ultrasound to have it checked out but apparently there's still a lot of muscle damage and also my gallbladder had sludge when I was pregnant. No stones that we know of.
Hi, my baby is 6 months old and mine has only just started to feel back to normal.
mine was healed by 6 weeks
im not too sure about the whole pain under the bust thing but i got pains from my scar a good year onwards and 17 months gone now i still get a bit of discomfort every now and then. doc said its not a big deal. remember your tummy muscles get cut open so inside takes longer to heal then outside
hey smile i had an emergency csection at 38 weeks with my daughter who is now 2 and a half- my recovery seemed normal but because my preggy"pouch" hung down over my wound and it was the middle of summer making it almost impossible not to sweat. long story short even tho they told me 8 weeks for it to fully heal properly- bang on 8 weeks i got an infection and it was probally more painful that the pains after csection- i had trouble walking even the pain from infection was that bad- my advice go see a gp as soon as u can- they ended up just giving mine a good clean out but that was unbareable! so just try air it out as much as u can- and see a gp if it starts oozing or smelling or anything out of the ordinary-!
