Anyone had experience with a womb/uterus infection following D&C? It's strange but i was diagnosed with it last week with only one symptom- pain in stomach whenever i'm ovulating...strange. can't find anything on the net about it except normal info re; it can be from 'left over' tissue. Doc has put me on antibiotics (it was discovered during ultrasound) and says it shouldn't effect fertility. anyone know about this? Help, feeling nervous!

I had an infection following my miscarriage and needed a D & C to remove the infection. I've never heard of it after a D&C though.

In regards to fertility following the infection, I've fallen pregnant since then.

If this were me, I would seek a second opinion just to be sure.
