faint line on pregnancy test

I did another pregnancy test today & theres 2 lines but 1 is very faint could that mean the test is faulty or it detected a little bit of hormone needed for pregnancy ????? i wanna show my hubby but dont wanna et his hopes up either thanks

A positive is generally a positive, so I would say congrats I think your pregnant! Perhaps do another test first thing in the morning to get a stronger reading smile

If there is definately more of a line than the previous ones you've done, by even the tiniest amount and it was within the 10 minutes, then Id say CONGRATS! smile

Hi what test did you use, as last month me and a friend of mine used clear blue tests, I done 2 tests which were from different supermarkets and mine and hers showed up positive (line came up in under 1 min) I went to my doctors got bloods done just to be told I was not pregnant (friend wasnt pregnant either) and to bring the test into the doctors, even he was confused as it did show a very faint positive.

If there's a second line on the test, then it's positive, no matter how faint it is!
If you want to be 100% sure, go and get another test and do it tomorrow, or even better, get yourself a clearblue digital one and test with that. Then there's no guessing if you can see a line or not.

Thanks my doc is saying around 3-4 weeks very early get to have a scan in 3 weeks to determine a date smile)))
