How common is it to have a period after falling pregnant? Rss

We're not TTC just yet, but we're not using any contraception either.

I was 4-5 days late for AF (strange for me), but she came yesterday. Normal flow, but now she seems to have stopped, or at least decreased dramatically. I have no other pregnancy symptoms aside from a sudden urge to vomit, then its gone after 3 seconds (which could be anything really)

With both my other pregnancies, I didnt even get implantation bleeding.

Think I might test tomorrow if my flow doesnt come back.

Also, if I'm not UTD, will this effect the timing of my ovulation when we do start trying?
Anyone??

Hmm I'm no expert on this but I know of a few people that have had periods a fair way into their pregnancies if not all the way through so I know it happens! I bled at 13 weeks like a period with dd but that was different (not to mention scary sad )

Go get the test, go get the test grin

Xx

it is very possible. I know some women that never knew that they where even pregnant as they got AF through their entire pregnancy. It could also be implantaion bleeding. I would do a test as anything is possible! Hope the results are what you want smile

Tallulah, that would have been really scary! Glad it all turned out fine!

My mum bled for the first few months while pregnant with one of my brothers, but there ended up being complications & he was a premmie. Hopefully thats not what im going through!

If it is implantation bleeding, its alot heavier than I imagined it would be. I also have absolutely no cramping with it at all.

I'll be testing in the morning grin I'll be happy if its positive, but wont be devastated if its negative, coz we arent actually trying yet.

Ooh let us know grin it's still exciting when you're not trying huh?? The sudden urge to vomit sounds interesting... X

I sure will Tallulah grin Yeah, the urge to vomit AND extreme moodiness & emotional sensitivity. If im not preg, then my hormones are playing tricks on me.
Ahh it was a negative. My body's playing tricks on me lol

But has AF returned? Are you still feeling sick?
I've had a really late positive before. Only got the positive with one of the early detection tests too.
I know someone who had her AF as per normal for four cycles whilst pregnant and I've had small bleeds whilst pregnant, usually after, ahem, bd.
No, she hasnt returned. And I still feel sick. Also feel really tired & moody.

I used an early detection test but it was definitely negative.

Hope this doesnt mess up my cycle for when we start TTC
