completely new to this but need advise
Hey guys! Me and my OH are ttc #2. Im currently 2 weeks late and got my last BFN on saturday. Has anyone heard of getting BFP a bit late? With my son I got a faint BFP at 8wks (he was a bit of a surprise at a hectic time). Driving myself.nuts thinking about it but don't want to seem completely stupid going to dr!
Hi!
If you got a very faint BFP with your son at 8 weeks, then maybe you don't produce much HCG in the early stages and therefore you could be pregnant I suppose. You may have ovulated later in your cycle which could explain why you aren't getting a BFP yet. Do you have any symptoms? I know when I was 6 weeks pregnant with DD my HPT's would come up with a very strong dark line immediately and I was already starting to feel pretty off.
I did have one experience where AF was over 17 days late (very unusual for me), and I did test after test after test and they said BFN, and they were right because AF did eventually come. I have no idea why I was so late, I was convinced I was UTD but that wasn't the case.
If it is really doing your head in can you go to the docs and get a blood test done? It's definitely not stupid to go, I went when I was 2 weeks late as well!

I've had symptoms that could be explained by other things too which is frustrating. Im still breastfeeding my son so the fact that my boobs have grown a cup size could easily be because of that, fatigue (im a working mum), moodyness, nausea and dry heaving in the morning.
I'm beginning to think its all in my head lol
I think if AF is not here by next week I'll make an appointment. Fingers crossed!!
Are you normally regular while breast feeding?
I would also go to the docs and ask for a blood test.

My son is 22months. I've had regular periods since.I had my first one when he was 13months give or take a day or 2 at the most. I'm thinking I will make an appointment as there must be some reason for being this late if I'm not preg
