Hi is there anyone having failed attempts at IVF? We had our first attempt which resulted in our beautiful daughter 16 months. We started trying for our 2nd baby almost 12 months ago and have done back to back IVF since with all being unsuccessful. It would be nice to hear of others who have experienced the same.
IVF Unsuccessful
Hi - we conceived our two little miracles through IVF! Our experience with our first baby sounds similar to yours. We did back to back IVF cycles for about 15 months and sadly had a miscarraige along the way also. It was a hard road but all worth it in the end. We were lucky with our second baby as we fell pregnant after the first IVF attempt. All I can say is try not to give up and have as much support around you as possible. IVF taught me that things seem to have a way of working out. Our kids are now 4 and 2 and we are very grateful that IVF gave us the opportunity to be parents.
I wish you well and hope that next time things might go your way

Hi we have just had our second round of Ivf, our first in march resulted in me having ohss with 42 eggs retrieved, 18 frozen embryo's wink but cancelled transfer, finally had a frozen transfer on 21/6 with a bfn ;((( very sad it didn't work but trying to remain positive! Hoping to go straight into another cycle !!! Period pain is so bad tho ;( !!
Hi - sorry to hear about your recent negative IVF result - yes I have the same very painful periods. I start Clomid tomorrow for 5 days getting ready for our frozen transfer in about 10 days or so. We only have 1 frozen so here's hoping the thaw process works well. We been doing back to back IVF for 12 months now.... this is our first frozen embryo try. Best of luck for your next one and I hope your periods are not too painful. I am guessing you have endometriosis too? Dreamandbelieve do you have any children? You have a huge result in the amount of eggs collected and having 18 frozen. Good Luck and keep me posted on your progress !!!!
I feel so sorry for you and your failed attempt. I work in a Day Surgery Unit and we see so many people trying and succeding and failing with IVF. It is a heartwrenching period to go through, with so many ups and downs. All I can say is you were very fortunate to fall pegnant so quickly with your first child. Alas 3 attempts is the norm and often people who are trying for a second child seem to average 5-7 attempts. Relaxation is very important. A lot of our obstectricians who conduct IVF advocate accupuncture and massage in conjunction with the IVF treatment. Good Luck, I pray you have a happy result soon
