TTC after MC

Hi everyone,

I sadly had a miscarriage a year ago in June. My partner and I had tried conceiving almost immediately after for the next year with no luck. I had an irregular AF that was daily for the entire year. Have had several ultrasounds, blood tests, swabs etc that show no obvious problems. Just wondering if anyone else had problems TTC after a MC?

Um Yes! Big time. 1st DD naturally conceived, then a couple of miscarriages and then not falling at all. DS was born via IVF after 6 years. My advice. Don't muck around waiting like I did. Get to a specialist. It's not like they start with IVF, they start with the least intrusive thing, and work up from there. It could be a really simple thing they could help you with.

My infertility was caused by having endo which was only discovered by a laporoscopy. I strongly suggest you visit a gyno and get a full gyno evaluation prior to going through the expensive and intrusive series of IVF.

Absolutely agree. I doubt any speciailist would put anyone through IVF without testing to find out what the fertility issues are. My IVF doc is a gyno, so assumed they are all. Best to get all the info you can and then you know where you stand.
