Samantha's First Pregnancy - Excitement & Fear Rss

Hi everyone smile

I'm Sam, I'm 21 & currently 33 weeks pregnant smile

My little miracle is due in March and I'm very excited.

As well as all this excitement, I'm also anxious too!

I recently got transferred from my local hospital to a larger hospital because my BMI is now over 38 & I've been deemed high risk.

I was just wondering if anyone else here has had a high BMI during their pregnancies & what it meant for them.
(I've put on roughly 15kgs, I was 92kg to start with & 165cm tall)

I'm getting worried, because my midwives at the local hospital have been warning me about the baby being stillborn because of my maternal weight. As a first time Mum, I'm sure I get worried about most things, and I may sound silly but I would love to hear from you all smile

I try to eat well, take my vitamins & drink water, but of course I also indulge here & there.

Thanks guys smile
I have never been warned of the chance of stillborn. I am pregnant with my fourth baby and started this preg at 89kg. I have been big with all but 1 of my preg ( gained 35kg with first preg which I never lost oops). I have 3 healthy little girls all under 5. I wouldnt worry just keep up the vitamins. I also go to a major hospital but thats because of other issues with my back.
