Mum of two darling boys
11 wks & Can't beat excessive nausea, any tips to help it ease at all would be great!!!
This is my 3rd pregnancy, I'm experiencing excessive nausea this time, sometimes it starts around midday and sometimes it starts from the moment I get up, but once it starts it lasts all day. I try to eat but the thought just puts me off. I get so squeamish in my tummy that I just want to ball myself up on the lounge. Surprisingly I haven't vomited once! I have noticed that anything really yeasty just repeats on me, mainly bread and vegemite (two of the things I love most! )Any tips would be great. At the moment I've been living off porridge and pears and glasses of milk.
I had really bad nausea as well during my pregnancy most of the day (and night), and the only thing I really found that actually worked was to eat! Although I didn't feel like eating, having an empty stomach actually makes the nausea worse, even if you just have dry crackers to nibble on during the day might help. Hopefully it will pass soon for you smile

All the best

This is my 3rd pregnancy also and have found the MS was unbearable, would last all day but I would also vomit. I tried ginger tablets, the sea band nausea bands and eating regular meals but nothing worked. I have never experienced MS so bad so went to my GP and she put me on Zofran wafers, they are pricey and you can only get a few at a time but my gosh they are fantastic keeps my MS at bay all day!

You poor thing. Hopefully it will start easing off in the next week or so. I found mineral water (San pelligrino in particular) helped. Nothing ginger ever worked for me, and the sea sickness bands didn't seem too either. I do know others who they worked for though. Porridge pear and milk doesn't sound too bad, but you must be getting very tired of it. I found with both my pregnancies I just had to go through a whole list of food in my head until I came upon one that didn't make me ill at the thought of it. That was then the one I was able to eat for that meal. Had to be that food and nothing else. Had to do that for every meal! Hope you start feeling better soon.
Try getting some maxilong (not sure of spelling) from your Dr it is safe to take during pregnancy. I did try it when I was pregnant and it sort of helped a bit.
