An exciting and very important research study is now underway in Perth that requires volunteers. The Cycle Study is examining whether a 14 week supervised home-based exercise program (14-27 weeks of gestation) can reduce the incidence and severity of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in women with a history of the condition.
Eligibility criteria:
~ 13 weeks pregnant or less
~ Had GDM in a previous pregnancy
~ Located in Perth up to 28 weeks gestation
Participants receive:
~ 2 FREE health appraisals (at 13 and 28 weeks gestation)
~ A 1 in 2 chance of participating in a FREE personal training programme in their own home, 3 sessions a week for 14 weeks (Valued at over $4000!)
