What else did you find easy pre-pregnancy and now are struggling with big time???
Are simple things for you proving not so simple?
Im 28 weeks (almost 29 now) and went to shave my legs last night in the shower.... wow.... what a nightmare! By the time I stood back up I felt totally puffed out!

Keeping fit and healthy in pregnancy!!
Haha! I'm 29 weeks and I did exactly the same thing a few days ago.
I went to get a pedicure with my sister on Monday (sine I can't paint/cut my toe nails anymore) and the pedicure lady gave me a look of pure disgust when she saw how hairy my legs were ~ don't think I'd shaved for about 2-3 weeks! So I tried shaving in the shower the very next morning which was an epic fail. My legs actually looked like a moth-eaten carpet by the time I was done with them! laugh
DH had a go at shaving my legs for me last night and he did a pretty good job!
Another thing I am finding difficult are fitting into the drivers' seat of my car! I've had to move the seat back and stretch my arms out more. smile

Hahahha glad to hear I'm not just a total freak! I'm finding when I'm lying on the couch just getting up to "seated" position a total struggle. I make a full on grunting noise and my boyfriend sits there and laughs at me. If these are the noises I'm making just by sitting up from a couch imagine what noises I'll make during labour!
I'm with you on the shaving! Also finding it hard to get off the couch and lets not mention this mornings attempt at putting my undies on...
Picking up the washing off the floor is impossible, partner gets a blasting if he doesnt use the basket!

Oh i agree with the leg shaving!! I dont wanna go into hospital looking like a cave mans legs but seriously its just way too much effort these days!!
Also noticed last night that i am having a lot more trouble with the undies thing too!!
Really sucks when you can even dress yourself without feeling like your gonna fall forward or something!!!
And yeah washing has been a big one too, especially trying to get it out of the dryer as its on the floor and i just dont seem to have the co-ordination to get it out and in the basket and balance!!! LOL

Anything that's on the floor is just going to stay there until DH can pick it up! The floor is just too far away from me now. I made the mistake of trying to sit on the floor the other day ~ getting up was interesting! I won't be trying that again any time soon.

My once nice lovely long tan silky smooth legs have turned into pale hairy things. I gave up shaving when my morning sickness was so bad bending down made me spew.. now at 28 weeks the bump has gotten in the way. Have to get around to it before he's born though, embarrassing enough having strangers looking at my hoo ha without snickering at my hairy legs. Also.. I can no longer bend down to kiss my partner. He was watching a movie and I bought him over a drink, he asked for a kiss so I bent down and stopped and said 'can you meet me half way?' all he could say between laughing was 'I was waiting for it' grr, cheeky he is. Sitting on the floor playing with my dogs is almost out too, once I'm down they get me stuck there and refuse to let me up. Still not used to this bump so I struggle to put on boots when we go shopping, usually I make my partner do it. Getting up sometimes is a nightmare when my back plays up, luckily this is where my dogs come in, they are both nice and big and pull me up, and I rest my hands on their heads when I feel wobbly. Can't wait until the monkey is born and I can get my flat tummy back and bend all the way down and touch my toes!!
lol this bring back memories. I had to have my DH tie my shoes in the morning. Sometimes when he left for work hours before me (I worked nights) I would be sitting in my pajamas and sneakers all morning haha. Sometimes I would go back to bed for a nap with them on!!!
How is everyone chopping with washing the dishes over the sink, my bump was always in the way, so I had to stick my butt out to wash a single dish, and the dishwasher well that was out of bounds for me early in the pregnancy.
A good time for shaving, do it in front of a long length mirror.
Good luck to you all!

This made me laugh. I used to get a big wet line across my belly from washing up. Or when making dinner I would end up with food or something on my belly from leaning on the bench. smile

Wait until you try for #2. I think that is why I had such bad hip and sciatic pain. You are forever on the floor and picking up toys and clothes off the floor. Fun, fun, fun lol smile
