any ideas on how to talk to hubby about having a baby as i really wanted one but he has 3 to a differnt partner all growwn up and now he wants to enjoy freedom and he ssaid the other day that he would like to have one and now is freaking out a little?anyone been in the same boat? smile

give him some time to come to grips with the idea.
I know men who have been in this situation. All you can really do is express how you feel about having your own family. What, and how much, it means to you. Unless he put his foot down solidly before your marriage, then he is likely open to the idea (he just doesn't know it yet). Broach the subject regularly, but don't put too much pressure else you will scare him off. My DF took one year to come around to the idea. I really wanted a baby, he had mentioned it in the past, but when it came to setting the "let's start trying date", he freaked out a little. It is a big decision, sometimes guys just need to deal with it in the their own way. Give him some time. But not too much so that he thinks you've moved on.
