Well as it states.. I am measuring small for my dates. At my 34week appt I measured 33cm (have been consistantly 1cm behind). Then at my 36week appt I measured 33cm again! Same Dr.

I have had all these concerns that little Mr will be HUGE considering my previous babies increased by 1lb and two weeks earlier.. but it doesnt seem that way this time.

So i have been measuring myself at home.. the day before I went in for 36week check up where dr measureed 33cm I got 34cm.. Now I am getting 32cm.. that isnt even the same as what she had.

She did say we might do a growth scan this week if still no increase.. My appt isnt until Wed arvo so I have left a msg for her to call me to see if I should go in sooner..

Has anyone has this where there baby has not grown in fundal height? What was the outcome.. It doenst help that I ahve had this imense feeling since yday morning that baby will be here VERY soon!

Yes my fundal height slowed down nearer the end and in fact at two weeks overdue measured only 37cm, and she was a big girl - bigger than expected that's for sure.

You will be fine - think of the growth scan as a opportunity to see baby again smile

Was always under with my first by about 2cms, had a scan at 39 weeks as they were very worried about her size and thought she would be under 2.5kgs and would be going straight to special care when born so had a scan and the sonographer estimated her to be about 3kgs, she was born a week later at 3.090kgs and perfect she's still a shorty on about the 25th centile so not that much under average and there is certainly many kids at kinder smaller then her

With my DD1 was always measuring behind sometimes up to 4cm. Had ultrasound at 30 weeks and discovered i had IUGR. Went on to be induced with her at 38weeks as she had stopped growing, She was born weighing 5p 7oz. DD2 similar thing with always measuring behind yet went on to have her at 40t5 and weighing in at 7p 11oz.... We all carry babies differently...

I am in exactly the same boat!! I went for my 35 week check up and Dr said baby was a little small for 35 weeks. Had been on track up until this appt.
He looked at the placental and cord blood flow and said I should go for a growth and well being scan this week before my next appt.

He said not to "freak" out!! Well, I have not slept well in 4 days!! My scan is at 1330 today. My first baby was 3,8kg and a week early (elective induction), so the Dr was predicting a big bub, just based on statistics!!

What can I say, I know how you are feeling, I am stressed, tired and anxious. I am worried that bub hasn't been getting enough oxygen now ans there might be neurological complications, although I will be grilling the Dr today during the scan. Hopefully, it is just a small baby and that's that!!

mine is kinda the opposite, i measured 35cm at 31 and a half weeks. i have to wait til tomorrow to see what they think!
so now im terrified my 3 year old cousin is right when he says i have a monster in my belly! ahh

My fundal heights were all over the show. From early on, I was always about 2 or 3 centimetres behind, and then about 32 weeks I was measuring 35cm, then the next week I was down to 32cm, and about week 36 I was still around 32cm. These were all measure by the same midwife. I ended up getting induced at 39 weeks as my amniotic fluid were very low. I'm not sure if my low fundal heights were correlated to the low fluid or not. I'm sure you will be fine smile

I have had the same issue, measuring 31cm at 34 weeks!
I was sent for a growth scan and told that my baby is small for her gestational age so have to go for another scan at 36 weeks and have been reffered to a consultant. I asked some of my other mother friends who said their babies growth slowed between 30-35 weeks and then picked back up again, hopefully this happens in our cases!

Evening ladies.. just thought I should post that I gained a further 1cm at my appt last week.. so because I measured 34cm at 37 weeks they decided to leave me. 3cm and within is ok growth according to the Dr's and my Dr didnt want to do a scan...

I am still here.. pregnant as ever grin

I've been measuring small the whole time...At 30weeks i was only measuring 25 so i got a growth scan and i have a very big baby! Im now almost 40weeks and measuring 33, Midwife and doctors arent worried at all though, people just carry differently smile

I'm glad someone started this thread! It has put my mind at ease a little.
I'm a few days off 37weeks and this morning I measured at 33weeks! Then my doctor said that she's worried my baby has stopped growing and sent me for a scan. Can't get in until Monday at 2.30pm - I hope I can get some sleep this weekend!!!!!
