How far along were you Rss

I was 11 weeks huge shock as me and my partner weren't trying and thought he would never be able to have children due to issues when he was younger.

Needing some positiveness as I have been in a worrying mood a lot and feeling a bit down.
Well yes it can be worrying and pretty scary making the journey into motherhood, but most mothers would certainly say that the positives far outway the negatives! First you need to focus on getting used to the idea and staying as healthy as you can for you little miracle baby. Once you are more used to the idea I don't doubt that the excitement will come. And make sure you use everyone here at huggies for all your questions!!
i was between 5and 7 weeks when i found out with all 3 of my bubs. i found the shock wore off alot quicker with #2 and 3 but when i found out about #1 we were certainly not trying and had only been together for a few months! it took me a while to get past the shock and theres alot to get your head around. its perfectly normal i think to feel a bit stressed and down as its so overwhelming and then you feel even worse for feeling bad because you 'should' be happy.. but youll feel better about it all soon smile congrats! X everyone adjusts differently, for me i found taking it one step at time to help..so just think about your tests and scans for now you have 8 months of time to sort out baby things and finances etc so just take your time and it wont overwhelm you so much wink

Woops we didnt tell any1 till 14 weeks with #3

4.5 weeks with my first
4 weeks with my second.

Both where planned

4 weeks, 3 days. Planned but relaxed planned if that makes sense. No BD at the right time of the month or anything like that.
I was 4 weeks and 5 days when I found out with DD1. AF was a couple of days late and I decided to test. She was naturally conceived.

With DD2, because I had to go through ivf, I actually did a test 2 days before BT and got a positive. I was 3 weeks and 5 days.

Both my pregnancies were planned, especially DD2, which took a total of 2 years to conceive her.

My partner and I found out when we were 8-9 weeks, we were on the other side of the world and had been together for 3 months when it all happened, it definitely turned our world upside down, knowing we had nothing to come home too, no jobs no house etc and it was all very stressful but with the loving support of friends and family they helped us out immensely. you have every right to be feeling emotional and scared its a normal part of pregnancy. Becoming a parent is a big deal but like someone else said the positives far out way the negatives of having a baby and in a few months you will overcome the initial shock and be so happy and proud It is a truly life changing experience and one you will be so proud of in months too come smile xxx
Well I was only 4 weeks and this is our first, I was excited to find out as soon as we could because we were trying. I hope all goes well for you and your partner, all the best smile

Would have been about 5 weeks I think when I home-tested. My periods have always been regular so I suspected as soon as they never showed up. As we weren't trying, I was worried what my husband would say, so I kept quiet until a week or so later when my husband asked, "is it almost that time of the month?" I told him "well actually, it's overdue and I think I might be pregnant..."

Both my husband and I wouldn't change a thing even though not planned. I'm sure once you both come round to the idea, and also once your holding your baby, you wouldn't change a thing either!!!!

All the best, oh and congratulations!!!!

Mum to one DS

First...21 weeks, surprise

Well I was about eight weeks. I was told in my early twenties I would not be able to have children ( I am now 32) and I was told quite firmly once again about a year ago, we were not trying obviously so it was a shock......I only did the test because I was so nauseated and feeling sick. I have never in my life had nausea. My husband said I should do a test. I berrated him for being a fool...poor thing he was correct. Now I am 16 weeks, eveything going well and the specialist who told me cant beleive it.....
so there ya go smile
I was 4 weeks!
I tested as soon as I could! LOL! I'm not the world's most patient person, so I had been testing earlier... and this is a long awaited baby (11 months of trying!)
I was so happy to see that second line!!!

6-7 weeks with my first and 4 weeks with this one.
7 or 8 with my first dd wasn't planned but thank god everyday that we have her ,best accident ever!!
3 weeks with my twins they were very planned!!
Just shy of 4 weeks I think with this one I'm not really sure lol
4 weeks with DS

with my 1st i was 3 months which was a shock as we were trying for a few years and my periods were always over the place. We were going to start IVF. The second one again i had a feeling at Christmas but ignored it as i had a new born. But yes again at 3months i found i was pregnant. It was no surprise to my husband as he thought i was pregnant to day we conceived lol. After trying so long with the 1st miracle we were shocked to fall pregnant only 3months later with our second miracle. Not finding out till 3months sure made my smooth sailing pregnancies a lot quicker lol.
i was 8 weeks when i found out, i am now 22 weeks, huge suprise..

i was with my ex for 9years and didnt fall pregnant, been with my current partner almost a year, and 5 months pregnant,
im pregnant with my 1st, i found out at 2-3 weeks along via bloods..
My first was 3 weeks.

My second was from day 1, I just woke up and went straight to the chemist then took a pregnancy test every morning for 2 1/2 weeks untill it came up positive. It cost me a fortune lol.

So I went to the doc and told him I was 3 weeks along, he said by my LMP I must be 8 weeks. Man doctors give you the business when they're wrong.
