Breech Babies Rss

My DS (second pregnancy) and this baby are/were breech and both times it has made the later stages of my pregnancy so uncomfortable.

Most days it is a struggle to walk to the kitchen to prepare some brekky/lunch for my kids. With DS it was pinching a nerve in my lower back on one side but I was able to do things for a short period but this time my hip kill while getting up and really hurt to walk. Even standing is agony. Both my hips are killing me and it sends shooting pains down both my legs! I can't find any position to stand in that is bearable.

Just makes everyday activities almost impossible and I am so disorganised!

Mind you the rain is not helping either. I've washed all bubs unisex clothes but still need to was cradle sheets, blankets and wraps just to give them a freshen up! Might just have to use the dryer!!!
dd was breech but turned at 30 weeks, unfortunately she was then posterior sad

anyway, i slipped a disc and pinched my siatica (sp?) nerve, just by getting up off the floor sad my midwife told me to either get a belt or something along those lines and tie it around my hips (not waist) really tight, it will keep everything inline and make walking alot easier.

good luck for the next couple off weeks, smile

found out dd was breech at 36wks. i'd felt uncomfortable with her position for a few weeks, but the midwives were saying she was engaged... they were wrong. they couldn't feel her head because her head was under my rib cage & they thought it was her bum!!
i was in agony. it hurt to sit & standup, as her head jammed into my rib cage. it was uncomfortable to lay down & sit up, as her head jammed into my rib cage. it was uncomforatble to sit for too long, as her head was wedged in my rib cage. i had the sorest back, hips, knees, ankles. i think the hips & back obviously had a lot to do with her being breech, the rest just because that's what you get when your in late pregnancy...
my ob tried to turn her, but there was not enough room & there was no give. her head was between her legs, so it was not good for her. i had to wait til full term, as she was small. but lucky for me, she got too uncomfortable & decided to come at 38wks. that resulted in an emergency c-section...
breech babies suck!!
