I feel terrible!!!! Rss

So the sickness has kicked in BIG time, I havent kept anything down since I ate a muesli bar yesterday.

My trusty yogo is even coming up, i cant even hold down water. I have to pack for my and DD trip to NZ on Sunday but the thought of lugging a 9mth old thru the airport and having the wiggle bottom on me for a 4hr flight just isnt getting me excited. The plus side i will have my mum to help me for my week stay with her, which DD will get more attention than shes getting now.

All i can do is prop her up next to me for feeds, then put her back to play. My partner works 13hr days so he comes home in time to put her into bed.

I need a magic wand! I think Sunday i will have to take some maxolon and hope for the best and deal with the consequences of it afterwards. It can make me feel worse the next day, with cramping.

I know im not the only one on here feeling this bad, i just want to feel normal again!
So sorry to hear of you feeling this way...
I hope you start to feel better soon!!

Have you tried buying the acupunture bands to help with morning/motion sickness...?
Oh yeah baby, you preaching to the choir. Some of us pregnant chicks cop it hard hey.
Can you ask your doctor for some help in settling your sickness?

Are you doing the flight all by yourself or with your man too??

i am about to go in search of my bands from last time, forgot all about those.

Skippy its just me and DD, he has to work, the only thing they can give me is maxolon but it doesnt agree with me, but i will be taking it before i get to the airport.

I just have to stay focused on the fact i will help when i get there, better than me lying on my couch all day by myself struggling.

Otherwise i might just have to get some string, and punch 2 holes in my icecream container and wear it as a necklace! Im wondering how much vomit can an airplane vomit back hold?
I totally feel your pain, mines just starting to ease off luckily. I have been on maxalon and I didn't take it at all yesterday although did vomit in the arvo.

How about you stock up on those little sick bags from the doctors? They would be much easier to use than an ice cream container wink

It's so hard to just do everyday stuff that we take for granted so I hope you get lucky and have a good day when you have to fly smile

Maxalon didn't agree with me last time either so if you haven't tries it yet this pregnancy give it a go it's been a godsend!
I would consider going to your LMC and saying you're flying they may give you an injection of Zofran...

Try eating ginger it help me so much when was pregnant with casey.
So i decided I needed to harden up.... so i out on my sea sick bands like suggested, I ordered myself a BLT and hand full of fries and then took a maxolon before trying to demolish my food, well I managed to eat half a sandwich and some fries and washed it down with flat ginger ale! Since then all i want to do is sleep!

Still no packing! Nothing like last minute packing on Sunday while DP looks after DD.

Otherwise i might just have to get some string, and punch 2 holes in my icecream container and wear it as a necklace! Im wondering how much vomit can an airplane vomit back hold?

go through the seats or ask the air hostesses for more and keep them in your car, Thats what I did, had a stack in my car for getting to and from work. they can hold a bit tongue
