due in 3.5 weeks Rss

hi there
i am due in three and a half weeks, but feels like it will take forever. does anyone have any ideas to make time go quicker. i have already washed all bubs clothes, set up nursery, just waiting......
Enjoy your sleep! If you have enough room in your freezer make loads of healthy meals for when your baby comes and freeze them in portions, i never had anytime to cook and put weight on after my pregnancy (after losing all of my baby weight straight away) because i was eating whatever was easy to eat.
Also for my next baby im going to write down easy meals like kebabs and frozen mash potato and tinned corn ,takes no time at all and little effort.I use woolworths online aswell now much easier than shopping with a baby! Im guessing your a first time mum?

I killed time by watching lots of pregnancy movies too cant wait for what to expect when your expecting movie to come out!
I used to have great advice for mums in the last few weeks of pregnancy, having survived it and realised how hard having a newborn is. WELL i'm back in those last few weeks and I feel like time is crawling by. I'm so bored, uncomfortable, as you can imagine I just want this baby now! I know it's going to be ridiculously hard but stuff it, i'm over being pregnant laugh

I honestly don't know how I ever survived those last few weeks in my first pregnancy, he went 4 days over too. Hopeful this one comes earlier than that but I really can't see it happening knowing my luck! Good luck, just know you are not alone smile

yay i am not alone smile

i know what you mean, it is better bubs staying in there, but you just get over being pregnant and want to meet them so much. when is your actual due date, we may be close smile

1st March, what about you? It really sucks, DS (3yrs) is being such a little terror these days so on top of being uncomfortable I have his bad behaviour to deal with. I feel like a bad mum because I just don't have the energy for him at times. Today has just been sooooo long, I just don't understand time at all. I mean I look back and remember giving birth to DS like it was yesterday so time must speed up at some point! It will the minute bub is born and out of me i'd say.

Is this your first? It gets worse (sorry) if you end up getting to your due date as people constantly ask if you've had the baby yet grrrr. The thing is the due date is so 'off' anyway, could really be anytime but you can't help staring at the calendar wondering which day it will be. I try to think I don't have 3wks left, rather that I wont be pregnant in 4.5wks for sure as they'd induce me by then.
no this isn't my first, i have a nearly three year old daughter.
i am due on 7 march. i too, went over with my daughter, but couldnt remember how i kept myself occupied, it seemed to fly by actually. now it's dragging on, which is weird, beacuse i am occupied with my daughter, but it's still dragging on smile

Yes! I am exactly the same. I thought this time would go quicker because i'm already busy with DS but in fact it just makes it longer as I can't veg out watching movies to myself or stuff like that.
I feel the same! Due on the 3 march! With no.2 as well. It's weird it feels like time is dragging on but then the end of the day comes around and next thing I kno it's the next day. But when I have to get up the next day I always say to myself how am I going to get thru this day without going crazy! Lol and I have washed all bubs clothes and everything is ready, hospital bag is packed so I'm jus waiting for the contractions which I wish would happen soon! These next couple of weeks is going to be so long!!!!!!!!!
Hi Ladies, can i join? im due 10th march with number 2....im just going on mat leave as of today. Not sure what i will do with my self for the next 4 weeks!! so excited for bub to come but terrified of the birth....kekeke
Hope time flies for all of us and we'll meet our little precious bundles soon!
Hello smile
My due date is March 8th/9th and I am totally feeling the same way, the last week has been the hottest of summer so far and I am not at all coping with the heat, not to mention a headcold/flu I came down with 2 days ago!
I have been over my pregnancy since about 32 weeks..but each day seems to be going sooo slowly!!
Im due this week, i went over with DD so im trying to prepare myself for the same thing this time! The last few weeks are such a drag, i hate waiting!
I have a feeling bubs will be born on the 3rd of march, DH says the 9th. Jeez that feels like months away!

I thought having one at home would make it go quicker, no such luck! I feel sorry for DD, as im so uncomfortable all i want to do is sit down with my feet up! Shes been an absolute gem though, im lucky!

Fingers crossed the next few weeks go quickly for everyone!

Hi mirabi I hope you don't have to wait too long to 'pop' so to speak lol I know how frustrating it can be at the end, I was in hospital for the last 2months of my first pregnancy and bored out of my mind to the point where I would help the cleaners who cleaned my room and often followed them to clean other rooms lol. I have an idea for you which is what I did when I was allowed home that is lol I went to my local RSL and played bingo with the old folk lol my doctor approved it cause let's face it I was sitting at home doing nothing but at the RSL I was sitting but having people around me so it made the time pass rather quickly. Now I know this might be difficult with a little toddler maybe one day a week or something someone could mind him. Anyways just a thought as it helped me pass the time. Good luck and I hope to see a birth announcement soon.
