Parenting magazines Rss

I have been working on a piece of writing which I am thinking about trying to get published in a parenting magazine.

My question is, to those who read them, what one/s do you read? Is there any particlular magazine that is better or more popular than others?

Thanks in advance for any replies smile
I read Practical Parenting smile

First we had Each Other, Then we had You, Now we have Everything

Same here, Practical Parenting.
Practical Parenting and Mother & Baby
Good luck with what you are doing.

I don't read them anymore because they just recycle the same old 'features' all the time.
Practical parenting

I stopped buying all the 'mainstream' parenting magazines long ago. laugh I do occasionally peruse them though if I am waiting somewhere like the Dr or indoor play centre etc.

Depending on which country you live in...Practical Parenting and Mother & Baby seem to be the most 'popular'.

I am in NZ and read Mothering Magazine (on line as it is a US one) and The Natural Parent Magazine which is a new one in NZ market. Little Treasures and Oh Baby seem to be the 'popular' ones here as well as Practical Parenting and Mother & Baby, though there are heaps of others.

I'm in NZ also so can't advise. I use to read Little Treasures (I don't really like it but had a free subscription), along with the Parents Centre mag (defo don't like that one but it came free with Parents Centre membership), and most of the free mags.

However, if you're trying to find out which mags are the most popular, there are two ways: if you check inside the front cover, then they will most likely have circulation figures quoted, or if you check out the advertising inside, have a look at how much space companies like Pumpkin Patch have got, as companies like that spend a lot of time and effort researching where to place their ads to be able to reach the largest audience.
I read treasures, the Parenting Mag - by the parenting place, sometimes Oh Baby, Littlies(sp) (cos its free) and used to read Kiwi parent (from antenatal classes)

Cool! Thanks everyone for your suggestions, ideas and for telling me which magazines you read smile smile smile
